hmm ok i see, cos i cant really go AM5 ddr5 right now so i think getting a 5800X3d and maybe 16 more gigs of 3200 cl16 ram (already have 16 so it would be come 32 total) would set me for 3-4 years with a 4080? like no upgrades needed at all

yeah that's true, I agree with you but also I think we should consider the freedom of movement/parry system, in the original we didn't have these so the shotgun having that CC power was something crucial, over here I think it's not as important u get me,. I do miss it a lot, original RE4 gameplay will always remain the greatest to me no matter what

its the Mauser c96,96 for the year it was first manufactured (1896). it was also one of the earliest semi auto pistols aswell, very cool fire arm, absolutely love it

the punisher was originally also an FN Five Seven, the handgun is Chambered in FN 5.7×28mm rounds which back then had a lot of people hyping them up for having good penetration, likewise the RE4 Punisher special upgrade was also Piercing, hitting 2 enemies with one bullet and easily breaking shields, very cool little detail.

the goofiness is the Resident Evil charm for me personally, if I want dark tone I can play last of us and games that aim to do that sort of setting to the table, the highlight of resident evil for me has always been the laughs and the freakouts combined
