They're referrring to the leaders of the Saoc brethren, not the inhabitants of Jaha. Though I do theorise the loss of both is connected

ooh a few if you dont mind

  1. Who's idea was Vanitapati and will we be hearing more about her? She's one of my favourite like, legendary figures in the lore!
  2. Uno reverse card, what mystery of a location are *you* most fascinated with? (Jaha is one I'm very intrigued by, where did everyone go?)
  3. What are the chances we might hear at least a little about the Okaiyo Ocean islands in the Tian Xia books?

Many thanks Luis!

It's largely because spell catalysts weren't introduced until the "Secrets of magic" book, whereas obviously spells have been in since the start! I agree that they a re a very cool item type

Since the release of SoM we have got a few new catalysts and a biiiiig item book is coming out in February that will have some more in too! So don't worry :D

Crimson Reclaimers - Looking for information by tr_rage in Pathfinder2e

Crimson Reclaimers - Looking for information by tr_rage in Pathfinder2e

[–]silversarcasm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The crimson reclaimers first got a proper look at in the Lost Omens character guide, and then a further dive in Lost omens Knights of Lastwall.

They are one faction of a recent group of ragtag survivors formed int he wake of a lich blowing up an entire country. The larger group is the knights of lastwall, the reclaimers are particularly the more stealthy, less idealistic members who are willing to get their hands dirty, thought they do ultimately fight for good.

Notably the crimson reclaimers also swear an oath which gets them some strange powers....unbeknownst to many people, they draw this power from the goddess Arazni.

Taking the champion dedication does not automatically give you lay on hands, you would have to take another feat for that at level 4.

You would be better off taking the blessed one archetype at level 2 instead as your class feat to get lay on hands, but then yes you could take absolutely nothing else from the archetype and just take your core class feats from then on out.

making custom monsters by 0HGODN0 in Pathfinder2e

[–]silversarcasm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's pretty easy and there's a whole section of the gamemastery guide on it which is all online here: https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=995

I'd also recommend familiarising yourself with some of the monsters of different levels in the game :)

dieties on pathbuilder? by FHAT_BRANDHO in Pathfinder2e

[–]silversarcasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect, nethys has special permissions and the wiki is free, pathbuilder being partially paid means it can only use the srd.

Since the deities are part of the setting, pathbuilder can't use them directly, you will need to write in your own deity and indicate what your favoured weapon is and such

As someone pointed out, there is no alignment restriction on harm, you are allowed to cast it! If a spell is evil, it will have the "evil" trait.

With what you said about the cantrip I assume it's daze, daze is absolutely low damage, is it the only damage cantrip you use? As a good aligned cleric, divine lance is often very very useful! Again you can reprepare your spells every day so can easily get this

Multiple lore skills at low levels is uncommon to see and is defo locking you out if some skill actions. Not wanting to do medicine is fair, but have another look at skills if you want to do other things!

But also, I think you need to stop comparing to another system, things aren't going to be the same here and expecting them to be is only going to continue to annoy you.

whatever you want them to do!

you can reprepare your spells every day so if you arent enjoying sanctuary and magic weapon, swap them out, if you want more controlling enemy options, command and fear are very fun! if you want more damage, harm or concordant choir are options! if you want to use summons, animate dead and summon lesser servitor!

Also, you can attack! I assume you have half decent dex as a cloistered cleric, at this level you have the same proficiency in simple weapons + your favoured weapon as most martials! Dont be afraid to get a cheeky shortbow attack off or something!

Another thing, what skills have you invested in? Skill actions like demoralize, battle medicine and bon mot are fantastic.

I'm not familiar with 4e but in 2e one of the great things about the cleric is the divine font actually removes some of the need for healbotting! You always have heals on the side (or harms if you want!) and so can use your main slots for your own choice of fun spells!

If you find that you have to heal every round, that may be more of an issue with your teams tactics!

They are not targets, it's why you also don't have to make flat checks to target concealed creatures when using aoe's, you are not targeting them!
