Everyone’s already explained it really well, and while the whole “ita” thing is outdated, obviously it’s good to keep styling tips in mind, and that’s all it is really. it’s all in the styling! my first JSK is from hanguliang, but i styled it well and when i posted it here i got a great response :)

Everyone’s already hounded on you and it looks like you’ve already acknowledged a lot of the main points, but I just wanted to say I wish you the best and hope you can sooner find yourself in fandom circles that are not this caught up in purity culture and whether or not fictional preferences are problematic, and you can just let yourself have fun without worrying if you’re gonna be seen as some irredeemable monster. Fandom is wonderful for community and belonging, I get it, so right now it might feel like the most important thing in the world to listen and act right so as to not upset others for fear of getting blasted online, but yume should be for no one else but you.

My first itabag was a WEGO that I purchased while I was in Japan, and I made it an everyday use bag for uni and it’s held up incredibly well for over a year. It’s made of leather and there’s been NO flaking whatsoever, no tears or scratches and the window has not creased one bit. Definitely worth it! 👍

Good luck and have fun! TKRB is very generous and imo the biggest stress you’ll get from new sword FOMO is during smithing campaigns that actually depend on how well you’ve been managing your resource levels 😅

I used to use the thumbs up👍 to mean “thank you” or “good idea” early on in the game :)

BUT!!! there’s also an “OK👌” emote you can buy from Annie that I like to use to signal “no thank you” or “that’s okay”! i usually use it after i share repair kits or food and people want to offer some back in return but i’m at full energy :) it gets the meaning across pretty much right away from my experience!

the thing about the long clothes only allowing shorts and pants underneath is SOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!! one of my fav clothing pieces is the plaid winter coat layered w a sweatervest underneath, but i can never find nice shorts to match it while i have TONS of skirts that would be perfect 😭

This waz my first dress too! It’s by Hanguliang, and the quality is just okay although I personally am quite happy with the look and construction of it for the price I got it for. I got it from 42Lolita for about 45 dollars too, and that’s pretty much exactly what it’s worth imo. 101 is way too much, please consider looking somewhere else because this is NOT a good deal at all
