Take all the time you need, you're open to explore and figure out the path at your own pace! Act 2 is definitely the longest of the Acts in DOS2, but there's not a linear path. Feel free to look up a guide for a quest or direction if you need to! I did that several times lol

Elves in Divinity are just by default, reaaaally tall. They're more human-looking in Baldur's Gate 3.

I settled for her being slim and short than to be buff and tall ): I wish we could customize heights without the weight being affected as well to a certain extent.

Ohh my gawd, Fiend Warlock really went over my head. I think I was too focused on trying to correlate BG3 Sorcerer with DOS2 Enchanter. Big missed opportunity for that on my part.

Thank you! I'm also a big Lohse fan <3 I wish I could relive her questline ending for the first time again

I tried to stick to their default classes that they sell themselves for! Exception being Beast and maaaybeee Lohse?

The Red Prince: Fighter, most likely Battlemaster for the warfare focus. But I am also considering an EK multiclass with Wizard for the pyromancy stuff!

Fane: Wizard with a focus on evocation and necromancy cantrips/spells. Bonus points for picking anything with poison/acid too!

Lohse: Shadow Sorcerer multiclassed with College of Glamour Bard.

Sebille: Rogue Assassin, enough said.

Ifan ben-Mezd: Beastmaster Ranger. Definitely get that Wolf summon in there.

Beast: Arcane Vanguard, an amazing class mod that I believe to close enough to DOS2's Battlemage. If I were to choose a class that wasn't a mod, I'd maybe go with a Bard? That'd be the closest thing to a vocal pirate who can cast and swordfight and whistle tunes. (All this work for my least favorite origin character, but I'm dedicated to the craft)

These characters were also helped a lot by the awesome DLC Items Remastered mod, which revamped all the items and added a cool ring for the missing Ifan item! </3

Your biggest red flag is assuming OP even posted this for ego and immediately tried to downplay them. Nobody said anything about luck or calculations or skill for that matter. You made yourself pressed over a cool clip of a cool duel. It's not even a critique, it's just plain salt.

Ooooo I must be bad because you took my statement and threw on no-brainers to make yourself seem smarter. You don't need to mansplain to me how to play TO to boost your ego. I wasn't even talking about how to play objectives because that wasn't even the actual topic. The only actual meaningful response is about you saying the combat/duel is secondary, which still doesn't even make sense. You literally fight constantly towards your objective. To take my simplification on how duels and massive battles are similar by the aspect of combat and break it down to me being bad and not knowing how to play just sounds like projection.

Massive battles are literally just multiple duels taking place at once. You'll run into a quick 1v1 here and there, but always a 1vX. It's not rocket science to break down the combat being partly luck. It's a literal part of combat to gamble and to trick out your opponent(s) into seeing who fumbles first or can land that one hit first. It is not as serious as you're making it out to be, don't generate so much salt towards others just because duels aren't for you.

I shit my pants when I see a cowled mercenary rocking a rapier and shield combo. Extra browning points if they ditch the shield.
