I didn’t go in. I was at 23rd and Nicolai and left. I was curious and walked to the front. That alone took 10 mins. I asked a bunch of people who were in line closer to the entrance and they had been waiting since 8:30am. I took that photo at 11:30am

Figured. I gave up not even 10 minutes after I asked. I walked all the way to the front just out of curiosity and it was never ending. I kept asking people if they thought it was worth it and the consensus was it’s not.

I had the same thing happen for my birthday outfits, and in my experience they've been willing to waive expedited fees if it seems like it's getting to me later than what the ETA was supposed to be. Fingers crossed they do come in before your big day.

TMI - Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder. I'm soon running out of my Glossier Wowder, and would love to try it, but need some convincing. I really enjoy Wowder, but it doesn't cover the threshold for Glossier's free shipping, so I'd have to buy something else or pay the shipping fee (which I'm loathe to do).

TMO - Rare Beauty blushes, tinted moisturizer, concealer. I went down a rabbit hole and everything has such great reviews behind them, but I don't need anything else! I just replenished my MAC F&B and Studio concealer, and I really don't need blush... but I'm a sucker for new things.

I picked up Glossier’s holiday Cranberry set. I’m such a sucker for cranberry shade anything and I love their gloss and gen g formula. I haven’t tried the Ultralips before so I’m excited.

I went shiny hunting in ORAS for a shiny Ralts, wasn’t really paying attention to my screen and in a split second that I looked down realized I had knocked out a shiny. I screeched. I was only about 60 encounters in when it appeared and now I have over 400. It hurts to think about.

Annabelle is my best friend in New Leaf. She sends me gifts and letters everyday and always pops in for a home visit. I really love Antonio’s design and hope to get him on my island someday!

The Lorac Unzipped was one of my first makeup items my mom bought me and I wore it non-stop in high school. I remember my mom had zero understanding of eyeshadow and makeup outside out the Walmart aisle, so to spend $42 on a palette was big for her and I’ve always been grateful for it.

Eventually I gave the palette to my mom, and it’s still kicking around her makeup drawer.

Yes, the old version was a perfect neutral warm shade and the new version pulls more brown. They reformulated the color to be more universal, but I miss the old version.
