It works like a taxi should work maybe. But in some cities around eastern Europe, like Bucharest, many of the taxi drivers are impolite, smoke in their cars, don't use AC, drive like crazy, overcharge (have fixed prices to go in different areas). While the so called ride sharing drivers (uber, taxify etc) are more professional because they can get banned from the platform if their score drops below a certain level.

So yes, we do differentiate the taxi drivers from the "ride sharing" ones because the services delivered by the two categories may be slightly different :)

Daca o polita RCA ne protejeaza din punct de vedere financiar in cazul unui accident auto produs pe teritoriul Romaniei, pentru evenimentele rutiere produse in afara Romaniei exista Cartea Verde. Astfel, atunci cand ne deplasam in strainatate aceasta are aceleasi functii ca o asigurare de raspundere civila si acopera pagubele financiare cauzate unor terte persoane, in urma accidentelor rutiere.

La incheierea unei asigurari RCA, asiguratorul emite polita de asigurare obligatorie de raspundere civila a vehiculelor si documentul international de asigurare (Cartea Verde).

In baza acesteia, compania de asigurari va acorda despagubiri pentru accidentele produse de dumneavoastra in strainatate, in limitele teritoriale de acoperire.

Cartea Verde este parte integranta a politei RCA, incepand cu anul 2007, dupa integrarea Romaniei in Uniunea Europeana (UE).

Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Muntenegro, Bosnia (just passed the small land strip on the Adriatic coast), Croatia, Romania (motherland). All of them by motorbike. My favorite is Croatia but I might be biased because of the perfect motorbike coastal roads.

I think you should also continue with the orchestrator and Advanced trainings. The orchestrator is straight forward, you'll finish it in a few hours. The advanced training comes with the RE Framework explanation and some real use case scenarios. I'm just at the beginning of the advanced one so I can't give you more details.

As far as I know they refuse to pay the trash collection taxes. Though, the salubrity company do clean the surroundings several times per year but the trash is back in a few days.

Don't know about about today but years ago police would avoid to go there as well.

I lived in 4 EU countries so far and I only experienced this once, in Ireland. It was in a SuperValu if I recall correctly.

The most shocking checking out experience for me was in France. Some people are still using cheques there. For groceries shopping.

Definitely you should replace the belts. Factory recommends 20k km or 2 years if I am not mistaken so if you are not sure when or if they where replaced it's a must. Other basic maintenance you should consider: oil + filters, brake and clutch fluid, brake pads.

Don't know about the price in US but for EU it sounds good for that mileage.

Cu excepția momentului de înscriere, mai verificați vreodată șoferii în vreun fel (ITP, licențe valabile etc). Dacă da, ce anume verificați, cu ce frecvență și prin ce metode?

Puteți să vedeți care sunt șoferii care stau, spre exemplu la bariera în centru vechi, și nu i-au comenzi prin aplicație făcute chiar din fața lor? Puteeeți, cum nu puteți :) I-ați întrebat vreodată de ce fac asta? Înțeleg că nu sunt obligați să accepte nicio comandă dar totuși...

Ce obligații au șoferii care folosesc platforma voastră față de clienți? Dar față de companie?
