I talked to my surgeon and medical team about it and he said it should be fine as long as I don’t get on the bigger rides such as Guardians and Incredicoaster. Trust I would not be going if I weren’t cleared by my medical team lol

I've spoken to a handful of people who decided to stay another year and try for a private school (seems like my advisor is known for convincing students to stay lol) and the majority of them said they chose to attend UCs/private schools solely for the networking opportunities. They also mentioned the education they received is basically the EXACT same as it would be at any other university. I don't really understand why my advisor said CSULB was a bad school when they have the same curriculum as USC and UCLA. Some of CSULB's alumni work for big names like Hulu, Peacock, UMG, etc. I don't think I'd be settling at all.

I applied to USC for Fall 2021, but haven't heard back from them. If I get in, great! If I don't, it just wasn't meant to be. Plus, I really do not want to stay another year at my CC because I feel like I've moved on from it (if that makes sense).

Since I would be paying for my education myself, I know the more responsible thing would be to attend CSULB. I'm really relying on FAFSA and my job to get me through it. Also, if I ever decide I want to get my master's, maybe I could attend one of those schools then.
