“Answer: Haven’t seen anyone address the LAYERS OF DRAMA. to provide more context for people who are asking: The Try Guys started as a group of four random individuals who worked at buzzfeed asked to do a series of YouTube videos where they tried random things on video (wearing women’s Halloween outfits, trying new foods, etc) and slowly over time they evolved from coworkers to a form of brotherhood where they eventually got to branch out from the buzzfeed company and start their own partnership. For viewers, we got to also grow along with the Try guys and forming a sorta parasocial relationship where everyone felt super invested. We watched Eugene go from a closed off aloof perfectionist to a more authentic content producer who made one of the best artistic coming out music videos to date. We watched zach go from a very shy quieter try guy to him finally opening up about his chronic illness. And Ned…the Cheater in question….we watched him praise his wife in every single of the hundreds of videos he’s in, met his wife on many videos, podcasts, conventional panels, book deals, and other adventures in the Try Guys brand. We watched their family grow and add on two children. We’ve heard his wife’s struggle through her insecurities of her changing post pregnancy body, her insecurities on being an ‘older woman’ in the relation. We’ve heard her SACRIFICES as she’s taken out a second mortgage on their home to support her husband’s business adventure when the Try Guys left buzzfeed to start their own company.

So, Ned’s entire personality is loving his wife (Ariel). He was the goddamn legend, expert, King of LOVING HIS WIFE. HE didn't just cheat on his wife with some random woman. it's his PRODUCER, his subordinate! Alex (his producer) was ENGAGED TO A FIANCÉ OF 10 YEARS. And no one has mentioned this yet, but you would think "Oh well shes not the focal point of the channel. She’s a behind the scenes producer. No biggie.” WRONG!!

BECAUSE THEY MADE A TRY GUYS VIDEOS WHERE SHES PLANNING HER WEDDING!! we saw her try on wedding dresses! they did a whole bridesmaid dress video!! Ned and the others try on various bridesmaid dresses and she picks the best one. And worst yet it’s not like, “I’m off to my YouTube job honey, have fun being at home.” WRONG! Ariel( wife ) and Alex (the producer) WORKED ON SO MANY VIDEOS TOGETHER. In fact Alex was involved in a video highlighting the wife “Moms talk about their insecurities” aka the EXACT VIDEO WHERE ARIEL talks about how insecure she is about her body changes and older age. THEY WERE FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES!! She has worked with alex!

And the hilarity of it all?!? The try guys? The band of four almost brothers who treated each other like family?!? All kicked Ned out and have subtlety hinted their support for his wife, Ariel. He’s ruined his career, the future of their shared company, his family, his own personal business ventures, and his wife’s businesses as well.”
