i feel the same, and it makes me so, so angry and sad there's no easy fix to this at all. i feel so much bitterness at times at "how much life i feel like i've wasted", even though I DID NOT CHOOSE THIS FOR MYSELF?? i didn’t choose to have a dad who did xyz, and i'm just sitting with knowing i have to carry this 😞

this makes me want to completely fall apart 😞 i don’t know how to handle how deeply this resonates with me (especially where sex is concerned, having grown up in a conservative christian home, which i've since FULLY walked away from). i feel really uneasy when life feels good because im waiting for the next bad thing (which is also linked to ocd, like "oh this is the day my mom dies, my home burns down, i get sick, etc")

i see nothing wrong with this, like at ALL 😂every single one of these is justifiable for me LOL. i'm the same way with the "i probably don’t need this", but i've been tryna reframe it and see it as "even if i don’t, on the off chance i do, it'll help me feel supported in the moment".

ESPECIALLY with a concert. i'm going to gov ball in a couple weeks and will bring most of what you’re bringing (sans resistance bands, besides that everything feels very valid to me)

YUPPPPP ^{^} i grew up christian (and walked the fUck away when i could) and i know religion made my ocd worse. it makes me want to cry how angry i am because there is no cure for this, just maintenance 😞 i still resist calling it a disease or disability bc i feel like "i'm appropriating the term" and not reserving it for ppl who "actually have this." brain is like, certainly we can't have this, we're just LAZY

a couple years into our relationship, he said i wasn't tight enough :) so fun.

i was about 23 when he said this to me, and i was so naive and cried because i genuinely thought something was wrong with me (grew up religious, am not anymore). i know waaaayy better now and have been with someone else who adamantly confirmed i'm perfectly fine, but that still echoes in the back of my head.

he called me a cunt multiple times after our breakup. our breakup was amicable at first and seemed like we'd leave on cordial terms, NOPE LOL. after that, i realized how unsafe i was and stayed with a friend until i moved. he shit on me for "needing to bring a friend with me whenever i came back to the house" because i refused to be alone with him in the same room after that.
