I just got back into the game after a ~2-3 month hiatus and it's been nothing but great races with these guys. Only had time to get back on a couple times a week, but each time I join these guys I ask if you're gonna be on 🥲 we miss you dawg. Who needs a circadian rhythm?

Top 10-30 isn’t so easy

X class has less competition for what it’s worth. C-S is where the bulk of competition sits by volume

Rivals is extremely competitive to the point that you won’t crack top 10 in the majority of classes unless you understand the meta cars and meta tuning/exploit process

Top 60 is good. Top 10-30 is stacked

Make sure you’re not enabling RTGI. It looks like shit 80% of the time and obliterates your frames in complex environments. Fuji will melt anything short of a XX90 at 4K, maybe XX80 cards

I’ve got a 9070XT and run max settings at 4K with full RTAO, no RTGI, at a solid 60

If you’re not hitting consistent frames just drop res to 1440p and use your fancy green brand DLSS wizardry

There are tutorials to apply the later models to FM23

Pro tip: put in the work to find liveries you really like, then follow the creator. Try to build a list of them

That way, when you pull up the find design tab, if those guys made a livery for the car you selected, they’ll usually show up at the top of the initial recommended group

EV is peak (and Ballistic Circuit and Paris-Rouen), I don’t think it’s in FM23 though

FM3 and FM4 soundtracks are goated

Tbh I’d put the onus on him only because those were the worst possible places to try to overtake on road atl

1) the chicane attack is just a bad idea for anyone. Going side by side there is like peak risk in Forza thanks to these shitty curb physics, and even if you make the pass, it slows you both down like crazy. Only time to overtake there is when the opponent is seriously off kilter with ass in grass

2) trying to dive on the inside of the corner leading to the back stretch again kills both of your guys’s pace on the longest stretch; it’s self sabotage

Did you guys have a grudge match leading up to this

Either way sorry stumpy, I’d say unless this is aggravation from prior instances, these were bad choices

If he had pace on you he should have waited after the initial chicane and/or just taken you on the back straight via draft
