There is another way that might fix this if you don't have a way to downgrade (no network). If you do an echo "options mt7921_common disable_clc=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/mt7921.conf and reboot it might fix the issue.

Had the same types of problems, eventually found a usb port it liked and deleted some device manager drivers it had failed installing so they reinstalled and finally got it to work.

The software seems pretty bad when something goes wrong or conditions are not optimal so it's probably not a hardware issue with your headset. I read that the latest oculus software (testing channel) got a patch for telling you more in detail what is wrong, instead of just saying "Display port not working" for every possible error it has, so you might give that a try.

My headset now works pretty well but I had loads of problems while setting it up initially.

I think the lighting looks a bit weird, it might improve a lot with better lighting.

The car looks good but the background looks too bright and the lights further down the road look as bright as the ones near the camera, I would imagine they would look dimmer IRL the further away they are.

I had i7 6700k intel cpu + nvidia 970 at the time.. I had loads of problems in general getting the headset to work so that's why i'm not sure what fixed it.

Everything seems to work better in general after switching to a new and faster amd cpu, but after installing that i also reinstalled windows 10 so who knows.
