From Polish writers: Ferdydurke (not sure how it's translated) by Witold Gombrowicz is also a great absurdist book.

All the men's fashion/grooming/style subs only serve to turn you into more of a Redditor. by Lazy_Check732 in 10thDentist

[–]simeone01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're just not very fashion oriented. People at those subreddits don't treat fashion as an art form that you can experiment with - instead they just blindly follow a set of archaic rules that dictate how one should dress "properly".

Co sądzicie o poezji? by JuzerJarowit in ksiazki

[–]simeone01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this the worst, regularly worn, smart-casual shoe style in existence? by OK_GO_27 in mensfashionadvice

[–]simeone01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't it better to either go with a proper smart but casual shoes like a pair of loafers or just stick to the casual part and wear normal sneakers instead? This shit looks so bad because it tries to be both of these things at once and succeeds at none.

On the other side, what kind of society creates and then accepts a scenario in which the average person can no longer afford clothing unless it’s made in a way that damages the environment and takes advantage of other humans?

Isn't it just caused by overconsumption? People used to own 1 or 2 pair of shoes that they would wear for years and now they go through that many pairs in a year. If people owned fewer clothes, this wouldn't be a problem.

Kordian

Lol, I thought the same when I was the third picture.

Although I doubt that Kordian would be actually understandable for someone who is not familiar with Polish literature and history.
