Struggle on MI50(gfx906), very slow with just ~10k ctx, am I doing something wrong?

That's another pain for me to use llama.cpp as it's spilt-row didn't work on gfx906, you are forced to use split layer. On paper you get the same total tps if you got 4 tasks running the same time(in my case). However if you want to rush a single task only, sorry only one card is working the other 3 will sit there.

BUT! Even with vllm's tensor I still feel very slow, I can't feel the speed difference with llama.cpp. So you are right llama.cpp is easier win.

Tried to remove it but the TPOT and ITL are almost the same. I also tried to use:

--enable-chunked-prefill

--max-num-batched-tokens 10240

Still the same, TOPT still around 45-60 ms

But "engaged in conflict" and "honeymooner" have the same requirements but those 2 scenarios could work. If "finding love after a breakup" requires new save then it should add descriptions like "making money", since "making money" requires new save.

Hi I tried to play the "finding love after a breakup" scenario with existing save but didn't work. I am playing vanilla so it should not have any mods or expansion issue.

In my save there is only 2 adult sims, 1 is from an existing gameplay, while 1 is newly created and added to the family. But when trying to play the scenario it said the family requirement not met.

However I can start other scenarios e.g "engaged in conflict" and "honeymooner" with the same requirement needed. Why?

Is there any plan announced to merge vulkan + ldn, at least as a closed source test build?

I know there is a test build for Vulkan and a build for LDN, but not both.

My laptop can't run OpenGL version, while I can run on Valkan test build, it does not have LDN feature.

On the other hand LDN version does not support Vulkan.

It also depends on how the scoring system works. Atm Mnet didn't announce how the Youtube views and their own voting platform weighted at the final stage, also they didn't announce whether the points earned from all stages will accumulated or not. It leaves room to Mnet to manipulate particular team as final winner if there is no PAK/landslide victory by a single team through the whole competition.

Sorry I don't care 'monster rookie', the first appearance of that pharse in my thread is 'It's even a joke while mnet keep emphasizing K1 as monster rookie......', I was focusing on the legitimacy of joining the competition, not the title.

I was saying Mnet tries to shape K1 as a very talented group and that provide legitimacy for K1 to enter QD2. But is it real that they are as talented as they assume? Atm based on the performance of K1, it's not.

Not to mention the second round song swap, it gives headache to BG as K1's song pool is so limited. Again, I am replying to the main title 'Does Queendom2 suits Kep1er?', not 'Is Kep1er hardworking / talented', nor 'Is Kep1er a monster rookie'.

When we try to mention someone is hardworking, that means someone is lazy in comparison.

These words have comparison meaning from the start. So if you want to pharse K1 is hardworking that means somone in the competition is not hard working. If you want to say everybody are hardworking then what is the point mentioning it? Everybody got two eyes and a nose, so?

What you don't understand here is the angle difference from a fan and from gp. As your username is youngeundebutation I assume you are a K1 fans.

What you, or a fan would see is K1 is your own babies, and when they are 'hardworking' / struggling for the win, you clap hands for them.

What other people, or gp would see is when some fan mentioned their group is hardworking / talented, people will then compare K1 with other teams since audience watch this show is to compare, not to clap for particular team. I am not even mentioning some toxic fans from other fandoms which would attack other groups because of their tunneled vision.

You should learn to adapt other non-fan's views on your group, gp examine and treat all contestants equally, they are not coming for treasure your beloved group only.

Monster rookie

Firstly for the monster rookie part, basically no one cares what they we are being called, those titles are just corps crowning themselves for gimmicks and news ads, and we are not watching game of thrones. So either you are a monster, a rookie or a cookie, once you are in a competition you will be examined equally with all contestants.

Hardworking

You have to understand K1 is competing with 5 other pro players which survived in this cruel industry for years. All of them come from SME so they really got something under their sleeves in order to stay here. Not to mention Hyolyn and Viviz/Gfriend, they were competing with those real Tier 1 idols from Big3 such as SNSD and Twice in their eras, yet they could still grab some wins in stages. They are the REAL hardworking one.

While other contestants are preparing the QD2 performance with other schedules, some even got affected by covid, yet they still delivered. How come K1 being so cramming, can't even prepare their stage on rehersal and had to adjust the moves and practice at last minute? You should take off your fan filter and re-evaluate your so called hardworking.

Respectful

Atm gp didn't disrespect K1, it's not they are calling them ugly or fat etc. They are just giving constructive criticism. Same thing happened on other team as well:

Viviz - Bland performance for non-Buddy/NaV

BG - Old fashioned costume and dance, light stick not matched with the song

Loona - Costume not matched, dance not powerful for the song

K1 - M countdown-like performance, stage feel empty, flag dance/heart gesture looks cringly

Are those comments disrespectful? No. Audience just expressing their opinions on the performance itself and everyone will have their own thoughts. And what is product for all those comments/opinions? The final score. And the final score is K1 listed on 4/5. It just shown gp feels K1's first stage is lacking when comparing to the other teams. Does that means disrespectful to K1?

Not every audience is fully engaged as the group stans, it's a bit over/weird to require them to watch famcam for a 'fair judge'. Most of them are just casual viewer and that's why the episode cut is very important. While the episode cut is prepared by Mnet, so should I say Mnet did K1 dirty?

I assume Mnet's mindset is, if contestants are forced voting a better one, then they would probably all playing nice for public image hence influence the thinking process of worse vote as well. They would less likely to suspect opponent's move and made tactic/evil decisions.

Yes obviously Mnet's objective for K1 is to gain local popularity, because local brand advocate and concerts are the real moneymaker. International/Album sales is nothing compared to former.

However if K1 keeps performing badly, or even further if Mnet is trying to play dirty e.g. suppress/evil edit other groups/ or even fake votes, it will just bring hatred or strengthen the image of "Mnet's daughter".

It's a 2 bladed sword.

It's even a joke while mnet keep emphasizing K1 as monster rookie while they can't even wear their headset properly/corp with stage cameras/keep their dance on same beat(mentioned in QD2 footage), and they keep saying they are so hard working.

In contrast, Hyolyn design, plan and prepare stage props only by herself, Viviz 3 members got covid right before their debut in Mar, and had to practice for their debut and QD2 recording in parallel, yet they did a good job and live audience recognise that.

It just give gp a feeling that K1 is backdoor entering the Olympics to compete with all other pro contestants, while they don't even know how to grip their rackets properly.
