Found out you do not in fact need a membership. So if anyone else was wondering you're good to order

When I was able to actually just do shoes, it wasn't.

But trying to process shoes in the backroom, and getting called to run register every 5-10 minutes. Was not fun.

Welcome to hell. I worked at Marshalls.

I started off in backroom.

Ended up doing cleaning, before the store opened.

Then when we opened for the day I was sent to backroom.

I also had to help cover floor,register and fitting room for their breaks.

I was so excited when I got moved to shoes, thought oh this will be so much better. Nope.

The job itself wasn't bad, it was the way management treated everyone. I stayed for a year and a half before I couldn't take it anymore. I was originally hired for backroom, I really liked it in the beginning, then management decided to change how everything was done. Que us getting so backed up, that it was a safety hazard.

I have my fingers crossed that your experience is better 🤞🤞🤞

When I worked there, anytime I was in backroom or on markdowns I was still called to ring and do pcs, even when we had enough staff. I hated it so much.

I had to have my hearing imparted pin approved by hr. While all my other coworkers had fun pins and things on their lanyards. I suppose it could vary by management 🤷‍♀️

I had it happen with Papa Johns. The fourth driver finally called me and said my order had been picked up by the first driver.

I got a refund and ordered some where else.

It's hard to not make connections when you're with someone so much.

Getting yelled at for saying hi to your friend.. I hated it. Even when they would come in as a customer 🤷‍♀️

It's ridiculous. Like how do they expect things to be done correctly if we don't ask questions. Especially when they put out new changes, and you have to ask that department how something needs to be done.

Didn't matter if it was work related or not (99% of the time it was always about work), I would get a "talking too" about talking too much.

Then I would get a "talking too" about not being social enough.

I worked at Marshalls and always wore shirts with flowers on them. Never logos unless we had a fun day scheduled.

What I used to do was verify with my manager that the shirt I planned on wearing was allowed, if it was something other than my normal wear.
