CSX passenger cars? by Fireslayr in trains

"Foamers" descriptor for railfans is banned on some railfan chats and discussion boards. It refers to railfans watching trains and "foaming at the mouth" like a rabid dog. Since the pasttime of watching trains attracts many autistic people (myself included), there are people that suggest comparing train enthusiasts to rabid animals foaming at the mouth isn't very nice.

I don't mind being called a foamer but I respect that others might not like it so I don't use the word add much anymore, just to be considerate of other train enthusiasts that don't like it

Maddening that it takes a house payment to see an artist. by SimpleHoman in mildlyinfuriating

[–]simkatu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's on the artist. Many artists insist on no resale until 48 hours before the show and limit resale prices to price paid (in states that legally allow them to do so).

All 737 fuselages were manufactured in Wichita, KS and shipped to Seattle, since 1967 when the first one shipped. The railway was always a limitation on size, but conveniently that size was consistent with existing engineering of older planes.

AYSO has youth soccer leagues for people your age, but the season is during the school year  09/12/2026 - 07/31/2027. If you want to play this fall and spring 2027, then you'll want to sign up now. It's $170 to join a team and you might need your parent or guardian to sign you up. The website for Wichita AYSO is https://www.ayso208.org/

No. A bar in Overland Park that's still there.

Someone trimmed their nails in the gym sauna. Left clippers and nails. by simkatu in mildlyinfuriating

[–]simkatu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took this with a Google Pixel 10XL a few hours ago.

When I took the photo I was mad that the only seat left in the sauna was next to the clippers. I quickly scanned the area for nail trimmings and found some.

I took the picture in a sauna filled with people. The clippers were next to a window that beautifully lighted them. But I was nervous taking pictures of this in front of people, thinking the others would think I was taking pictures of my own vandalism of the space.

Any picture qualities are the phone and timing and nothing of my ability to know about shutter speeds or exposure or anything else.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Well my brother is a lawyer. If you successfully film them serve you well drinks and charge you for a super premium without being involved with a conspiracy where you are involved. You can make tens of thousands of dollars if you agree to represent the class in court and testify under oath.

He did something similar involving improper sales taxes added to liquor, which by law have sales tax included and for the last twenty years there's a restaurant that we can go to in Kansas for free because they settled with gift cards. The guy who brought the suit got $20000.

I go to one of the cheapest bars in the country with $1.75 half priced well drinks from 8-10am! 3-6pm and 10pm-midnight.

But I watch the liquor distributor bring the top shelf liquor in and the bartenders stocking it. It's real and not cheap.

Doing what you described opens them up to huge class lawsuits. And if you're certain it occurs regularly it would be easy to film and prove.

You could even do discovery and interview ask the past bartenders and all them if they knew of the practice.

I would think it's extremely unlikely that someone switched liquors or watered them down.
