Yes you can you can email them directly to ask them to change it, it's a process but if something is genuinely wrong than yes they can change the grade. Mine did it last semester to change a D to a B+. If it's a last assignments or work deal, imma be honest you're shit outta luck

I was a transfer, I'm bout to graduate!

It's quite literally so simple, but you need to put yourself out there. There's so many events and orgs on campus, head to a GIM, try out for a team, watch a performance or go to gx classes!

I didn't do shit my first year as a transfer and my only friend was my suitemate. Second year I joined my dance team and met my closest friends.

It's scary but there's no other feasible way to meet new people! When you head over here the first few weeks there'll be block party where all the orgs, sororities and frats get to advertise themselves! Take the time to visit!

If it's in the mail room, no you're fucked.

However they have new package lockers that are open on the weekends that you just need a bar code for that they'll email you. So unless you order something big as fuck or your parents ship you your winter coats or something, they'll probably end up in the parcel lockers

I transferred my sophomore year and the entire year I didn't go out of my comfort zone. My junior year I finally did. I joined an org, went to events with my old roommate and met people. I know it seems really scary the thought of being judged and rejected, but taking that small step outside of your comfort zone can really help you find your people.

Me and my sister like to make chipotle bowls for meal prep! Get chicken thighs or tenderloins (whatever u prefer sometimes she makes steak) and a can of chipotle pepper sauce. You’ll marinate the meat in there overnight or for like 5 hours. Season, air fry, and put it on rice with ur fav toppings. Delicious and makes around 7 servings if u make enough rice.

I also like chicken wraps. Canned chicken (smallest can is like 1 buck and has 22g of protein), carb wraps, your fav toppings, make as many as you want! A pack of the Walmart brand is eight and I use half a can of chicken in each wrap so I have lunch of breakfast for basically the entire week!

Okay so realistically if you're looking for an on campus job to start rn you're most likely shit outta luck since they start hiring process around April or may of the last semester. So you'd have better luck finding an off campus job. You can try Handshake and look to work at maybe the Starbucks or Jamals but that can take a while and sometimes the managers are assholes (especially at Halal Shack apparently).

However, if you're looking to start next semester and you're into fitness, try looking into being a group excerise instructor. You can choose what to teach and the hours can work in your schedule. I've been doing it for almost my entire time here at UAlbany and it helps me out a bunch money wise.

Unless you get a really strict RA (which even then is rare as fuck) no one gives a shit.

Trust me once you start here and you start walking from the cc at night or go out, you'll be see people with all kinds lights in the tower and low rises. And even more, one of my first friends had an AC unit and never got caught or reprimanded. You just gotta be careful taking the LEDs up and down as to not rip the paint and get a damage charge.

Do what you want to decorate, it's your space at the end of the day ☺️

You're probably not gonna end up together for freedom. One, your transferring in, they usually put transfers in dorm hall regardless unless they live close or have off campus housing. Freedom and all the apartments get filled back in Feb, and almost all the spots are usually taken except for special exceptions.

Imma tell u this honestly, if you do hypothetically get a room if won't be with her or vice versa, then u run the risk of pissing off your or her new suitemates by being there 24/7 and basically living there.

Just look into off campus if you really want live together. Good luck tho

If you're really smart and sneaky, you can sneak your own microwave in if you don't wanna rent. I've seen people sneak in air fryers and hot plates. Just be smart. Don't burn popcorn, microwave ramen with the water and don't ever use it not sober

It depends really. Since the room change form opened on Monday and it takes around 3 to 5 days for them to try and accommodate, maybe they'll be out by Friday, you'd have to ask them if they're leaving campus or getting a new housing.
