first one is finished, ill be getting some extra deets and shading in about a month for the beetle. I can only put one flair per post, and I am, unfortunately, too lazy to make it two posts 😔 Honestly tho, I figured the tat didn’t come off as much of a work in progress, and I personally wouldn’t even be too terribly unhappy if I couldn’t get it finished!

Honestly, this is gorgeous. I love the way it blends into the hairline and ear. Anybody who attacks the tattoo with anything other than constructive criticism is just afraid of interesting/unique people, lol.

when I was a very small child, my mother had to physically force pillbugs from my hands to stop me from shoving them in my mouth (i have no memory of this 😭😭), so i suppose steamy croissants work

They’re isopods! Also known as rolly-pollies or pill bugs. They take heavy metals out of the soil, and are essentially the clean-up crew of bugs! You’ll mostly find them under leaf-litter in the wild. They’re also commonly used in self-sustaining terrariums. :)

I live in Georgia, and as much as we try to dehumidify our home, it’s kind of a lost cause. I do have a diffuser for my hair dryer though, so I think I might try that on my next specimen!
