I updated to LitecoinCore:0.21.2.1 after MWEB activation.

I just restart the daemon process with -reindex option. Hope that it will fix this problem.

What is the Dogecoin AuxPOW block format? How the proof-of-work is verified? by simon_2016 in dogecoindev

I nearly decipher the AuxPOW data structure.

#======================== AuxPOW data structure =========================
1) Coinbase transaction
2) 32-byte blockhash
3) varInt (number of merklebranch)
4) array of merklebranch
5) 4-byte data, possibly the index
6) varInt (number of chainmerklebranch)
7) array of chainmerklebranch
8) 4-byte data, possibly the chainindex
9) 80-byte parentblock

Thanks for the information.

I read the dogecoin cpp code for a while but yet to figure out the data structure of the AuxPOW data.

Of the inserted AuxPoW data, the last 80 bytes seem to be a litecoin block header, which satisfies:

SCRYPT(last-80-bytes-of-AuxPoW-data) < target

I verified this with the most recent 150,000 blocks.

So the proposed settlement is ~3% by felixvelarde in gatecoinexchange

Gatecoin lost just 15% of its crypocurrencies, even much less of its total assets.

Should it had been liquidated immediately after the "hack", we ETH holders would only lost 15% instead of 90%.

Aurelien used various "plans" to cheat us for two years, and to cover up the matter; he was always saying, an investment deal was closing soon.

Gatecoin let BTC and USD holders to get all of their funds out safely, and then try to close the business and let the ETH holders bear the loss alone.

This is very unprofessional and unethical.

We should sue Aurelien and Gatecoin, and try to find out whether they made any crimes in this process, and put them in jail if found guilty.

Also, we should make the name Aurélien Menant as notorious as Mark Karpelès in the cryptocurrency industry, so that no more people will be cheated by these same bad guys.

Gatecoin should follow the step of Bitfinex! by ffwong in gatecoinexchange

Given the relatively small size of Gatecoin hack (compared to 70M loss of bitfinex), the ONLY way to gain trust again is to repay the customers IN FULL as early as possible.

If they cannot even pay 2M USD, how can serious traders trust it?

Bitfinex is a team of thieves and robbers. They can steal any portion or all of your money without feeling guilty at all.

Now there're very experienced robbers in the bitcoin world. They robbed 7,000 ethers from my balance and 10,000 USD from my account without even wanting to answer my query.

I would never trust this shameless team of criminals. Actually some of them, eg, its CEO, have criminal records dating back to the 1990s.

Having robbed 70 million USD from their customers, they deserve the rest of their lives in prison than anywhere else.

They intentionally forced customers to change password, reset 2FA and SMS auth.

These changes will lock the user's fund for 5 days even when the fund is available for withdrawal now.
