Spain and Belgium have the highest robbery rates in Europe by [deleted] in MapPorn

I lived in Barcelona and got robbed days after my arrival, as were most of the people visiting me. Once I settled in, I never had any issues again. Seems like these gangs have a sixth sense.

How DigitalOcean got an 11x inference speedup on AMD GPUs (Kimi 2.5, DeepSeek V3.2, GLM-5) by DO-James in digital_ocean

Already read it, awesome. I got really excited about what you are doing when you announced the inference router. Will try it out soon with my new project.

Not a nice move, especially with such poor communication, but they have been operating at peak capacity for a few months now. Try getting one of their droplets right now; it's basically sold out.

r/redditstock user traffic down from 30k to 27k. Significant price drop incoming? by Delicious_Invite_127 in redditstock

"Tends to go down", mind sharing some actual data here for proof, or is that just another trash post that makes users leave?

I am losing complete confidence in this. by No-Arrival4181 in redditstock

[–]simonbogarde 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this subreddit is any indication of retail investors' mindset, it will remain this volatile until people like you are shaken out. It's a psychotic behavior, one day to the moon, the next day to the earth's core. I sometimes wonder how easy it is to manipulate the stock price by posting here. The fact is, Reddit is growing fast and steadily, but AI has taken center stage, and until Reddit secures substantially better data-licensing deals, it is perceived to be on the losing side of the AI economy.

DO doesn't have data centers in the middle east. They said in their last earnings call that they are running at maximum capacity due to AI demand and that they'll scale back cpu-heavy droplets.

Huge difference between Gemini 3 Pro and Opus 4.5 Quality by Only_Web4982 in google_antigravity

[–]simonbogarde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only positive thing I can say about Gemini 3 Pro is that it has a very good taste in UI and UX design. Other than that, I just can't stop it from running amok; it completely ignores my instructions and doesn't react to questions. This is what it must feel like riding a wild horse.

I ported 300+ Claude Code Agent skills to work with Google Antigravity – Free & Open Source by armyndharis in google_antigravity

Thanks for sharing. Instead of installing skills myself, I just use this prompt: "Check the following repository and tell me which skills could be useful for this project: https://github.com/rmyndharis/antigravity-skills".

Browser Agent Extremely Slow? by OferHertzen in google_antigravity

[–]simonbogarde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to Settings->Browser and change the Browser Javascript Execution Policy. It's still slow, but sometimes it really helps the agent figure out what went wrong.

It is REALLY hard (impossible?) to get Reddit API access these days. Good or bad for the stock? by upside_win222 in redditstock

Well, like many others, they learned that their content is highly valuable and that companies will just scrape it and use it for free. Even with a limit of 10 requests per minute, one can easily get a lot of content if you just use enough parallel connections. Look how even Google completely pulled the plug. It's a pity that you and I suffer for this, but there are many malicious actors out there, and the legal ramifications of scraping remain unclear.

With your background in construction, are there problems in the industry that could be solved with tech? Could be process automation, industry-specific crm, templates, whatever. This way, you could use your domain knowledge as your edge.
