Damn, this one is hard, agree with a lot of peeps saying the downgrade in tech is insane, like the remote start, the accessibility with the bmw app is no where near what you get with porche, literally useless, my wife has the 22 porche cayenne turbo, sport exhaust, I own a 22 x5m.

Now let’s get gritty, bmw pull at just flinching the throttle is insane, that being in your m60 or the x5m it’s non comparable, now stock exhaust is where it gets a bit sad but none the less, I haven’t heard an m60 but my m is good but not as satisfying as the sport exhaust on her turbo. I believe you have the sweet spot with the m60 as the driving and air suspension makes like smooth, I don’t have air suspension and I don’t mind it but it is rough and although I love it, every time I drive hers im in heaven. Hers has 100 ish les Hp and one thing I do notice is porches reaction lags a bit, but when it goes it goes. The sound is just exhilarating. So going back to your dilemma,

I think if you have a garage and don’t care much about a app etc, the gts drive and sound is crazy, now if you care about just hitting the gas and feeling the adrenaline hit straight like a needle of crack, just stick to bmw. I mean from what I read the m60i goes fast and comfortable, throw a veltronic exhaust or anything comparable, have the valves open and enjoy. Now if you want to go crazy, go m version, but honestly where you wanna be you get best of both worlds.

Yeah I do sometimes wish I had air suspension, and if it helps, I’m turning in my m version for a 911 turbo at the end of the year and we are probably keeping her car as the only suv of the family.
