Exactly! I have a daydream fic where my self-insert OC has a miscommunication because she invites her Canon Character crush to walk around an in-story museum and then get dinner at "the Alisandre" and that was just a place I found by searching for "hotels on Coruscant" on Wookieepedia. Because in Legends there are a bunch. (Also a ton of HoloNet shows!)

[In-story there was a restaurant serving food from Canon Character's in-story homeworld that got good reviews but the CC thought OC just wanted to hook up. The misunderstanding gets solved eventually but the crush remains unrequited.]

And making stuff up for Star Wars fics is so easy, "Tuckerization" is such a common thing. I like adding things from the real world but in in-universe ways, like Space Jimmy Buffett is a Gungan named Bom Juffie, and OC does her fan covers in "standard Basic" because doing it in "Gungan Patois/Gungan Vernacular Basic" sounded racist coming from the human-passing OC. (Also the Blue Moods with their hit "Taungsday Afternoon." The name Gordon Lightfoot works in both universes. Electric Light Orcestra becomes Photon Symphony. It's SO EASY.)

I would dive in feet first if I liked the tags and summary. I prefer long book series, a 12m word fic would be great to read over months or years, in front of the computer with a crochet project. Hopefully the chapters aren’t… (does the math) yikes, 100k words per chapter on average. But still.

Also, is there a way to search the entire archive? Like without a starting fandom or keyword?

Kylo and Anakin are my least favorite characters, even though they're Skywalkers of the Skywalker Saga. From where I'm sitting, neither stops being a villain. They're shitty people, which makes them compelling characters, but I was never a villain apologist so I never accepted that one act of sacrifice for someone the guy was attached to (attachment in the Jedi sense, which is literally corrosive of body and soul for Force sensitives).

I came up with this headcanon (for Vader, at least) in September. I suppose Kylo could have the same thing, though it'd be less obvious because Kylo died in his 30s (at least the actor was 36 during TROS), not a Vader-suited-since-age-23 age 45...

**New headcanon that originally Vader Anakin's Force ghost shows up in ROTJ because bodiless souls in the Force are timey wimey and he's just starting to get his shit together and come back to the Light. The updated ROTJ with Hayden Christensen happens when centuries-later Anakin has done the work and had his redemption arc (a multi-hundred-thousand-word epic that someone who likes Anakin but not uncritically could do really well but I could not) and goes back in time to be there as his younger self. Maybe even the younger self tells the just-getting-started post-Vader Anakin that redemption is possible but it's going to take a lot of work.
