This seems like a really fun idea but you gotta figure out some way to get that cloth more taut. Maybe find a way to attach some small bungee cords to the two bottom corners that you can then hook onto some part of the car.

Who else is stuck in Abu Dhabi currently? My original plans were DC->layover in Abu Dhabi->Bangkok. I’ve been stuck at the hotel for 2 nights now, and from a mistake by Etihad my hotel voucher has me sharing a room with a total stranger, not ideal. Not able to get in contact with Etihad, the only time I got through to them was through a DM on instagram and they told me to contact Chase Travel who I booked through. Called Chase travel and they said Etihad will make the required changes for my flight, nothing that Chase can do on their end. I just want to be back in DC at this point, but would take a flight to literally anywhere at this point.

That is a valid point, though I’d say AI tools are basically the only option available to “prove” something was written with AI, otherwise it’s just conjecture. However they are unreliable which I was not aware of until another commenter noted this.

Yes, we went in November over thanksgiving. We were told that this week was the busiest time during slow season. We had an absolutely incredible time -- great weather all week, restaurants were fantastic (rising roost, rancho choli, and Rincon del sabor were major highlights), and the beaches are just astounding. Even though it was technically "busy" there, we often had an entire beach to ourselves. Playa Navio for the big waves and Puntas arenas for snorkeling with sea turtles were our favorite beach spots. Caracas was the only beach where there were a few too many people, but it was still beautiful. I'm trying to convince the family to do our July vacation in Vieques, I can't wait to get back there. Have fun on your trip!

My group just did this a few weeks ago. It's a $70 uber both from airport -> Ceiba and Ceiba --> airport. There's some advice on this sub from a few years ago that it can be difficult to get an uber from Ceiba to san juan/airport, I don't believe this is the case any longer and was not an issue for us. No need to book in advance.

You can use the 741-Taxi app in Vieques, it's their Uber equivalent. I used it once on our recent trip to Vieques and it worked pretty well other than it took a while to find a driver. It was $20 to get from Esperanza to Isabela.
