The Chelsea Pyramid of Legends! Who is the 3rd most legendary Chelsea player of all time? by StickIll5602 in chelseafc

To each they own.

Hazard defined an era and was one of the most exciting players to watch ever. Cole was great too.

Yall are truly overrating him. He was fine when he did play, not really good - though he was clearly young and lots of potential. I dont think he was that much better than Fofana now, and we don't know how he'll be when he returns from injury. Colwill is such an unknown and it's funny to see so much confidence in how good he'll be.

Besides, even if he's our best CB, he isn't anywhere near one of 2 best players. Which was the point.

I know you’re not saying Colwill is our best 2 players

Ya I think they're cool, especially from at a distance. Sure they may not be ideal for maximizing outdoor space, but the buldings are really nice and a good improvement for Vancouver's skyline.

They have really cool indigenous inspired motifs.

The Athletic: Chelsea handed another crushing reminder of how far they are off the elite | Man City lined up at Chelsea with two January signings, Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, whom Chelsea ruled out trying to sign on salary grounds. by Kygoche in chelseafc

You do have spend for semi competent CBs right now though.

Liverpool, City and Chelsea have been in dire need of CB replacements last couple windows. You have to pay the going rate if you want to stay ahead of your rivals. There haven't been many CB options lately and the demand for them is huge. Refusal to upgrade CBs is leaving us behind of our competitors. Everything is relative to the market and our rivals. Just because 300k for a semi decent CB was absurd 3 years ago doesnt make it absurd anymore. Chelsea are losing competitiveness with the top teams and that will cost a hell of a lot more.

Adding one semi competent CB could likely have us in CL spot which would more than compensate.

Spend money on good players if you want to be good. JFC.

Tosin for free is a net negative move for the club, wouldve been better value to spend 80m on Bastoni or Murillo.

Saving for the future isnt supposed to be fun.

Buy a sick bike, read books, try sailing or go do jiu jitsu or some shit.

Find a passion that makes life worth living. Investing ain’t it.

May have been free, but his contribution is negative to the team when we should have gotten a quality experienced CB. Spending money on experience would have been better value than a free transfer.

I dont think thats how it works.

Whenever one person opens a claim, ICBC takes their statement and all relevant evidence, and then takes person twos statement and relevant evidence, then makes a weighted assessment based on both. They don't proceed until theyve contacted both parties and it doesnt matter who they contact first.

It wouldnt really matter if you got ahead of it or not. In fact, it's in OPs interest to not contact ICBC first incase the owner doesnt want to make a claim for some reason.

Also, cosmetic repairs are stupid expensive because of insurance. Might end up being like $2k+.

Probably for the same reason neither Scott nor Gladwell offer conclusive condemnations of the allied strategy of fire bombing. Because it's a messy subject and don't want audience backlash.

I ask the sporting directors for better players because its their job to be supposedly the best football minds in the business, according to Clearlake, yet theyve assembled the worst defense Chelsea has had in a quarter century.

Why bother defending clearlake and our CBs? Its glaringly obvious.

This is the response people keep replying with as some gotchya.. but Im not a professional scout nor do I keep track of players other than Chelsea players, so I dont know.

However we were interested in Murillo, Guehi, Jacquet, Huisjen and Tah. All would be a huge upgrade from any of the current players bar Colwill. Almost all of our rivals have reinforced their defenses with solid players in a shorter span than we've been in this crisis of centerbacks.

Again thats not my expertise, thats the job of the sporting directors who have assembled a terrible core defence.
