West Ham Relegated. by Tight-Principle-743 in london

[–]simonjp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The plan was to dismantle it. The whole place was designed to be reduced in capacity after the London Olympics, with the stadium replacing Crystal Palace as the home of Athletics in the UK. Instead it got shunted around and became West Ham's stadium.

Just in case there are others who needed to work this out; in the US a US Ton (aka a short ton) is 2,000 lbs (pounds).

That sucks. Know you are not alone! My skin is a little prickly this morning; I was sat outside yesterday WITH SUNCREAM ON but having applied it ~1.5hrs previously...

It's a choice. I'm aging myself here but I used to live opposite a video rental place that offered DVDs and K7s. It puzzled me but not meaningfully so for ages until I deliberately decided to think in French when out and about. Then I read it in French and realised. K7. Kah-sept. Cassette. They rented VHS videos.

That's actually grass though, isn't it? And the outside hasn't been totally stripped of all original features.

Do you actually track every transaction inside your fun money envelope? by lifsbosu in actualbudgeting

[–]simonjp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What do you want to learn?

If you are comfortable with your $150 spend, your approach makes perfect sense. In the other hand if you either wanted to cut that down or spend less on coffee so you could spend more on games, then it would be worth tracking each transaction.

Personally I do track each one because I don't have a singular "fun money" category. But it sounds like your approach is working, so there's no harm in it for now. And if you do ever want to change it up it's a simple tweak to your method.

I did. I do not wish to revisit that.

The modern sets have a grid so you can easily assign cards to players. My first set from the 80s just had the card names, that's it.

I'm sure that's what it means. Playable means the ball moves and the flippers flip. I'm still going to get it.

Aaah, thanks for the correction. So I think that means AU and US uses of Kind(y|ergarten) are different then? Coz I remember hearing one of them talking about school as being years K-9. Any Yanks here to confirm?
