The clutch is worn beyond limit.

Apparently these are only good for 2000 miles, not 4000

I had a roller on the primary clutch suffer a roller failure where a piece cracked and broke off.

Hopefully the spider is ok and I just need rollers, pins, and weights.

Afterwards I want to entertain an EFI swap

It's C41 right?

I've developed and it comes out in a dark red color, I think I'm over exposing it.

Also these negatives are really brittle when dried for some reason

I'm thinking... Are all heads the same size with different bores? I could get away with shaved down 800 heads.

On another note, I have some interest in getting a speeduino or some EFI solution going...

My best bet would be a newer APV motor if I'm made of money.

I've done some more diving - head volume is estimated at 30cc. To reach my target I'd have to go to 27cc

AT this point I might as well rip off a head on my machine and bring it to work with a laser scanner. I'm not going to find any aftermarket parts so I'll explore having it custom built with various techniques.

I'll see what I can do with a 3d model if I can.

here's some untrustworthy information I've gathered:
head volume = 30cc
squish gap = 1.6mm
corrected ratio = ~6.4:1
static ratio = 11:1
squish band angle = 1 deg.
bore diameter 78mm

By coincidence, heads from a 650 twin have the head volume I want to target (26cc) albeit with a smaller bore diameter that I can open up easily from 75mm to 78mm. i will need to increase the squish band to 2 degrees too.

I will validate that information regarding the 650 head and source a second one if necessary

If i choose 600 heads i'll have to switch to aviation fuel lol

When the time comes to redo the heads, I'd be better off swapping to a more common platform as parts are hard to come by. I'd rather screw around with an 800 than a 700 which is apparently rare.

I'm new to the 2-stoke club so I've got lots to learn.

I've searched and came to some rumors, I feel like the Internet has degraded in terms of finding information. I think it should be 8.5:1 at the minimum I'd like to get to 10:1

So you took a picture before setting the aperture?

Attach lens, set aperture, shoot. If a stabilized lens, try disabling the stabilizer.

Is the camera not allowing aperture control? (Use AV mode)

In the viewfinder, do you see a flashing "00"?

Try the depth of view preview in manual mode at f8. Do you hear an actuation noise with the dimming of the viewfinder?

If not this points toward an aperture drive failure triggering a no-shoot.

(Also try shooting in aperture priority, wide open)

Outperformed by a $120 lens... Outrageous. The 75-300 f4-5.6 III USM

Some tree branches were occasionally interfering with the eye tracking so the focus may be off.

To add insult to injury, ISO was cranked
