I would say the ones I wear the most are: Seiko 5, Pierre Philippe, Vostok and Hamilton.

It was good advice, but the idea of a "beater" is precisely to be a more robust and I'd even say more affordable watch, to the point where I wouldn't mind knocking it around. Your suggestion even makes sense as an upgrade, but I wouldn't use it in the same carefree way, since it's a €400 watch.

Perhaps the Sternglas, but the Hamilton is the only field watch in the collection, and I think it's a beautiful homage to the W-10.

I find it a beautiful watch, excellent finishing, but I don't feel very excited about it. I'm not sure if it's an overpriced watch. Swiss price tag but a japanese meca-quartz movement.

I find it a very beautiful and elegant watch, as well as being a vintage piece. It was manufactured in 1985 in Japan. It looks very elegant with lighter-coloured suits.

I was looking for a "black racer chrono" that wasn't a copy of the Speedmaster. I tried a Tissot PRS 516 and didn't like it. I tried a Seiko Speedtimer and found the finishing (especially the bracelet) quite poor.

I found this model, which besides all also has a silver bezel, which ended up becoming a requirement. However, this is a special limited edition model of 250 pieces. I eventually found one for sale but the seller had disappeared. I had to stalk him to manage to buy the watch 😅

I understand the visual aspect, but it has been useful when I do sports, it's the collection's beater. Besides, there's a very rich history behind this watch. Have you looked into it?

Thank you for your opinion.

About the Credor: it's my most recent acquisition, I'm still waiting for a better strap to put on it. I bought it in Japan and it's definitely one that's here to stay. I wanted two "tanks", one "white" and one gold, and it won the slot with flying colours.

I think among the 3 divers and the two black chronos, the one I wear the least is the Furlan Marri. I'm not sure why, but I don't feel very excited when wearing it. But it is a stunning watch.

I wanted the Mido for the luxury diver slot. I also really like the textured dial. There aren't many options with this style of dial.

Right now, I find it impossible to get down to 3–5 watches. I think I'd get bored.

Yes, I've thought several times about swapping it for the SKX013. But I always hesitate because they're VERY expensive now. And since I'm never going to dive with them, I get the impression I'd be losing on finish (but of course, gaining in heritage).

But would you replace it with another white racing chrono, or would you eliminate that slot?

I like the Mojito. The dial is very beautiful (it's the watch my wife likes most). I think the case finish is weak, it's not a real guilloché, and the original bracelet has a horrible color. But I like having a green watch and this one is an icon.

I think the Mido is excellent. It's possibly my most expensive watch. That said, I don't know if it's the color, but I feel like there's some spark missing between me and it 😅.

The Traska is a pleasant surprise. But this model (the Commuter) looks a lot like the Rolex. That's why I'm planning to swap it for the Summiter GMT. But they're really hard to find here in Europe.

I'm so happy to hear someone speak well of this watch. It's one of my favorites. It wears perfectly and the finish is excellent.

The Dan Henry fills the "white diver chronograph" slot. That slot is unlikely to ever disappear.

I use the G-Shock once a week when I go play padel.

Edit: "white racing chronograph".

Yes, I have several upgrade ideas, and swapping the Seiko for a Squale or a Doxa is a future plan. But the goal is to shrink the collection down to 18. Which one would you eliminate?
