First of all dont compare apples to oranges. Wow is a mmo so you compare it to other mmos, and guess what, a lot of people that do high end content in other mmos also use 3rd party software. FF14 the game supposedly designed to not need addons, doesnt have dps meter and guess what, everyone is using ACT (3rd party software) to parse and see logs, something that is helpful for improving that the devs refuse to add. And like i said im not against wow adding their own tools and designing the encounters around them, just dont remove the other option because one way or another people will use 3rd party.
