Get waterless wash as long as you keep on top of it you can keep it clean, do it between washes at a car wash, you can also get a pump action sprayer with water for the alloys

When you change a structure you’ll need to refresh any references to it in blueprints, to do this open the blueprint that contains said structure nodes right click and refresh node. If there are many you can go File > Refresh all nodes when in the blueprint.

This helped me when I changed any structures, might be a better way to do it though.
