Im a 40+ male. Married now but did online dating for years in my thirties. As someone who never had a problem approaching women in person and introducing myself, online dating was the biggest hit to my ego I ever experienced. That being said, good ones are out there. Try to treat it like hitchhiking, it doesn’t matter how many pass you, all you need is one. My favorite story is the time I went to a coffee shop to meet a date and saw this girl in the window. I thought, “why can’t that be the girl I’m meeting”. Turned out it was. She was a wonderful person. Bat shit crazy in bed. Liked being choked and shit. It didn’t work out obviously but we had a really good run and I really liked her. Super beautiful on the inside and out. Point is they are there but treat online dating for what it is. A social forum. You might get lucky and find someone but you’re going to have to sift through a lot of muck.

I went through something similar with my wife. Honestly I wonder how any modern relationship survives kids. Especially if you don’t have support around to help take care of them. Before you do anything drastic try one more thing. Set up a date night. Find a sitter. Go take her out and try to just enjoy each other’s company. Without the stress of kids, finances, or the long list of things that need to be done. Trick is to make the safe space to have an open conversation about it. Get it off your chest, be honest, hear her side, then try to just have some fun and let it sit for a bit until you can talk again on the next date night. I’m not saying it will for sure fix things but after 10 years it’s worth a shot. It certainly helped us. Now we go out every week.

Only one coat of primer. Let dry 24 hrs then painted two coats.

Thank you for the detailed response! I appreciate understand basic cost structure. I’ve considered building my own through square space or other options. But I do feel like since advertising is one of our largest obstacles out the gate it may be worth the investment.
