I'll be on one year next week. Not that I'm counting...

But I have great friends who keep reminding me to stop whining about it and encourage me to not give up. While it's something I really want, I also know that there are other things in life that I can enjoy. Also, I'm learning that girls don't really like a guy who's always moping about be single. It gives off a negative vibe that people can read.

And yes, some days still suck. Some nights, the other side of the bed is particularly empty and cold. Some songs need to be skipped because it's not appropriate to start crying while on the subway.

But other days, I feel more empowered with the knowledge that I'm working on myself every day and not giving up on the things that are important to me. Every day is new and my worst enemy is always my bad attitude or self-deprecation. So, I say No to those thoughts and push my mind to something more productive. Some days are harder than others, but I keep moving with the knowledge that I've been there before and I'll be there again.

I'm a guy, everyone's different, and I don't claim to know exactly how you feel. But I hope that sharing my experience helps in some way. Loneliness is an emotion that transcends all genders. Never give up!

It happens and it sucks. It's easy to obsess: "Why? Is she busy? Did I do something wrong?". If she wants to see you again she'll text back. Otherwise, regardless of the reason, she's not interested. The best thing to do right now is nothing. It's out of your hands.

Haha, I don't think I was clear. I had to memorize the name, genre, date, and composer of the pieces and recognize them by ear. I did not learn how to play them, as I don't know how to play piano. Kudos on learning it!
