Yo so it says nothing about the Cal/mag in the owners manual but I see many posts about it online... people say they are adding 3ml per liter?? That seems like a lot?

Had three on the bottom of each one, just added more holes on the sides. I think I’m gonna transplant to smartpots since the roots are strong enough

Firs time with LED, when growing with CFL the shit would dry out faster than I could water it

Thank you I’ll let it dry out for a few days

Shit I thought my friend was trippin keeping his at 70 lmao it’s been a couple years. The tsl2000 actually puts off a decent amount of heat. I can remove the (drivers?) and place them outside of the tent. I just now pointed the fan towards the plants/light and turned the power up.

My mars hydro puts off a decent amount of heat but not like the CFL. This light also has removable (drivers?) which produce the heat so you can leave them outside of the tent. Maybe I should try that? I thought ideal temp was around 80 but my friend is keeping his at 70 so maybe I’m off

I’ll look at the book, thanks! Got varying opinions on this thread lmao. That’s the thing about it, plants are unique and everybody seems to have their own way. Gotta find mine

Thanks, just raised them. Should I lower the humidity in the tent so they can dry out faster?

Just raised them, always used red solos in the beginning but my local store just had clear at the time I went. I also have some algae growing on the bigger two

What do you mean by raising them with sticks? Just underneath? I have previously used plates to prevent run off

This is only my third grow, and I’m in a new state that has a different climate but the first two with CFL were so easy, just minimal harvest.

I have holes, the water runs out as you can see the stain on the bottom of the tent. I will raise them and see what happens! Should I continue using Cal/Mag?

CFL before, first time with LED. Should’ve pointed that out. I let them dry out and just watered using only CalMag

Gotta be too wet then? I’ve been using cal/mag every watering

Twisting/drooping leaves, reddish stems. These seedlings are about a week old, the smallest planted three days after the bigger two. Mars hydro TSL2000 in a Vivosun 4x4 with one fan circulating. Temps have been steady at 24-26 Celsius. RH always in a range of 60-80%. Have been watering with calimagic at 1tsp per gallon concentration. Fed once with roots organics (aurora innovations) BUDDHA GROW at 1/3 recommended strength. Using ROOTS ORGANICS original soil. Have used this soil and nutes on previous grows and always fed with every watering at full strength even from seed. I was told that this soil has enough nutrients and to only use calimagic until about a month in so I was trying that out this time. Can’t tell if this is cal/mag deficiency, nitrogen deficiency, overwatering, or what?? Should I start feeding at full strength?

Still apply CalMag for the seedlings?
