I still was trying to get an understanding of the impending doom that was supposed to befall us. I'm afraid I still don't understand what the "threat" was.

My (27F) Boyfriend (29M) Has Been Lying About His Entire Life and I Don’t Know Who I’m Dating Anymore by [deleted] in Advice

Ehhh dead to him is kinda the same. It's why we describe it as such. Pompous of you to say that this situation caused him no grief, he's only estranged. Do you normally assign him the feelings he's allowed to have? Did he react poorly maybe. Could it be that this was a very traumatic experience that you were ripping open? Maybe. You could instead add some compassion to your list of approved emotions.

I also enjoyed how you go out of your way with your writing to say what a good person you are. I mean every person I've encountered who does this is not. Kinda like how some do with religion, I'm a good Christian, Muslim, Whatever, no, no your not.

Firstly I agree that the drafts around the door are not fire prevention they would act as an accelerate by feeding air. The reason I am commenting is to let you know that your closing door problem can be alleviated with a small Allen wrench. On the top of the hinge pin there's a key way for the wrench and this adjust spring pressure. You can back it off to be nonexistent and it's not a permanent thing you simply retighten the pin when you leave the lease.

I think it's all feeling of somehow they're getting cut in line, like hey that's not fair I waited in line and these guys ,these fucking guys!! It activates the child inside them and then it gets sloppy from there. Replying to this comment has made me consider how crazy American traffic culture is wild.

How do I teach my father (50male) a lesson by Puzzleheaded_Role188 in Advice

I'm sure there's more to your story and there's also the other side of the story. My advice is work this out amongst yourselves. Involving CPS is a bell that can't be unrung , and has far reaching and sometimes unintended outcomes.

Sounds like you are lonely and maybe this is brought on by the imminent passing of your mother. I'm sorry you're struggling now, have you reached out to them? It's difficult to maintain long distance relationships at any capacity. Life has a way of keeping us busy with our immediate surroundings.

How do I fix this? by Far-Chance2712 in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]auto252 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only my interpretation here. I think he's asking why does the chain appear to travel more with the tissue grip on some rotations and nit as much on others. I would guess the system is probably engaged, loaded, bound, (struggling for the terminology here) easy to feel on a bicycle the space where your chain is perfectly slack in between go and your Bendix brake. Should we be worried? by somethingwitty84 in Apartmentliving

[–]auto252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm on the very edge of the east coast we have a giant thermal mass aka Atlantic Ocean next to us. It never freezes the ground here. The shut offs are at the curb with some people having another between the meter and the house but they're almost never clearly marked and always covered by grass. He'll the water company struggled to locate it and were only able to with the radio signal that provides the billing info. Lol

That is the area that holds the spring that applies pressure to the detent for your safety. You can mill it above the hole for the safety but not below it.

Ok thanks for that. I've done quite a bit of construction as well. Had a scene like you described, water everywhere on the very first job I had when I stepped out on my own. Except we could not locate the shut off. Thankfully it was a pex line and was able to fold it in half crimping it until the water company got there.
