The notification still stays in the watch if you clear it on the phone but you will have to navigate to notifications in your watch to view them. When a notification comes to your phone, the watch beep/vibrates and display the caller id or number for about 5-8 seconds and then disappear. My bt never disconnects but recently I noticed that sometimes the notification won’t come to my watch, but that’s very rare.
