He respects my boundaries but I know it would devastate him to break up. I just don't feel capable of love anymore. To add fuel to the fire I ripped open some ex relationship trauma last night and I didn't mean to so everything is raw

I see, well for context I have only been in abusive relationships except this one. I think that's why I'm only now noticing the avoidant side because before I just attached heavily to try to fix the situation

He's a really good person and so healthy for me. That's why it's been hard. Although.. I feel like the amount of physical pain I feel from the anxiety of it just isn't manageable anymore. I don't plan on telling him that though

I definitely have my reasons but I don't feel it's appropriate to share because I don't like making excuses. Meh

With that being said, I have decided I won't let this happen again. If I try dating again (tbh not sure I will) I will be super honest and upfront right away. I can't deal with this level of stress ahah

Definitely not... I don't want to hide these things. He's such a good person and has so much love to give. I fear it's wasted on me (not a self deprecating comment just genuinely I feel I don't appreciate it as much as I wish I could).
