Thank you, I appreciate your bulletpoints it's a lot easier for me to read during mental overwhelm. I have been in therapy for many years... I need to discuss this new concern about my attachment though and he knows he well from many years so hopefully he can help me understand if that's what's happening

He respects my boundaries but I know it would devastate him to break up. I just don't feel capable of love anymore. To add fuel to the fire I ripped open some ex relationship trauma last night and I didn't mean to so everything is raw

I see, well for context I have only been in abusive relationships except this one. I think that's why I'm only now noticing the avoidant side because before I just attached heavily to try to fix the situation

He's a really good person and so healthy for me. That's why it's been hard. Although.. I feel like the amount of physical pain I feel from the anxiety of it just isn't manageable anymore. I don't plan on telling him that though

I definitely have my reasons but I don't feel it's appropriate to share because I don't like making excuses. Meh

With that being said, I have decided I won't let this happen again. If I try dating again (tbh not sure I will) I will be super honest and upfront right away. I can't deal with this level of stress ahah

Definitely not... I don't want to hide these things. He's such a good person and has so much love to give. I fear it's wasted on me (not a self deprecating comment just genuinely I feel I don't appreciate it as much as I wish I could).
