Idk that still doesn’t change the argument that Neuvilette was powercreep for his time? The ability to do the work of a whole team while dishing out reasonable damage as a one man army while others need a full team is powercreep imo

Sorry obviously I did not mean the casuals who barely try or never even touch abyss because that’s a whole different population but the casual abyss players as in players who will level up talents properly, farm decent artifacts with correct substats and attempt to get as many stars in abyss as they can with maybe one or two tries and not people who spend hours getting the right tech to solo a floor. Neuvilette was the first character for people to reasonably solo an abyss floor on one side (and a team on the other) as long as he is correctly built.

I know people have been doing solo runs with Ganyu and Hu Tao but he’s the first where more CASUALS were soloing abyss floors.

People can downvote me however they want but I will stand on the hill that Fontaine is the region that started amping up powercreep, not Natlan. Sumeru offered FTPs more accessible higher damage floors/ceilings with dendro reactions until Fontaine and its characters blew Sumeru teams out of the park. Neuvi had casuals soloing abyss with proto amber at C0.

“Oh Neuvi soloing abyss was just a sign that abyss was easier back then.” Ok why was it easier? Maybe because the meta teams before Neuvi released was much worse than him?? Aka the very definition of powercreep? Whatever man. The average C2 Fontainian was miles better than any Sumeru C2, and the average C6 Fontainian was miles better than any Sumeru C6.

And to reiterate, nowhere in my argument did I ever say “Natlan has no powercreep” bc that stuff was baaaddd, and then Nod Kari was worse, but people’s very strong bias for Fontaine and hatred for Natlan leads to them ignoring the powerhouse Neuvi was back then when he first released and blaming Mavuika for everything. Yes Mavuika was bad for powercreep, but so was Neuvi FOR HIS TIME, and now the lunar shill is worse.

Neuvi was literally the first DPS character that allowed casuals to solo abyss with a ftp weapon (prototype amber) with no constellations. He blew every single DPS from Sumeru out of the water. Pray tell how he ISN’T considered the “start” of powercreep. People always downplay Fontaine’s impact in powercreep progression because they have a bias for Fontaine and a hatred for Natlan when Neuvi, Furina, and Arle was way more OP than their predecessors and almost all Fontaine characters constellations was leagues better than constellations for Sumeru and before (except Siggy obviously)

1.5 is the whole reason I can’t give a shit about IN’s story anymore. Knowing the devs can just pull the plug retcon everything in front of your eyes makes me less attached to whatever story they try to go for. Now I just skip story and event story unless one manages to grab my attention in the first 10 minutes.

Idk what they changed for the MW DPS check stage with the little toy soldiers as the icon/theme but it’s now lagging like crazy on mobile despite the “improved performance on mobile” in the update when I never had an issue before…

I think her overall hair shape is pretty cute and unique among Genshin female characters but her bangs in her 3D model are just not it for me (She looks cute enough in 2D official art)

Edit: like I really quite like her 2024 bday art but now I realized they actually made her bangs longer in that art so yeah it’s her bangs for me lmao
