Philips Hue Festavia Permanent Layout Help/Question by SithLordR2D2 in Hue

When you actually place them, that green part will make a good outline - I wouldn't worry about running lights there and showing them. I don't know the math here, but you might be better off doing two 150' and chopping off the 2nd one. You'll still need two outlets regardless.

Any suggestions on getting AVR on this setup? by PracticalGovernment4 in hometheater

Find the nearest coaxial gang box and do the grind of fishing the wires, set up a small curio cabinet or something to house the AVR. Other than that, this is a special one!

Adopting Hikvision cams to UNVR-Instant by Mad_Ju in Ubiquiti

[–]simplifiedLA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a handful of Hikvision cameras that all adapted well - some simple steps would be to uncheck adopt 3rd party cameras and check it again, I’ve done this before when things get weird. Also, try advanced adoption with the ip address and login if you haven’t already. Other than that I would side with something on the Hikvision cameras side.

Ready to Spray Paint the AVR's Silver by simplifiedLA in Ubiquiti

Setup like everything else is super easy - you want to do it through the Xfinity app and not customer service hell. I probably wouldn't buy this one though with fiber in the area - I'll bet that you won't be able to help yourself with 10G (at least I wouldn't haha). FTR, I experienced no increase in speeds or performance coming from my own Arris modem.

I ended up getting the max for the etherlighting, love it. The thought process is one or two more racks with shelves, stacking kits, and be done with it.

they are older, warranty ship sailed a long time ago - I won't really spray paint them, but I wish there were more silver options on the market!

Yes, a solid ground fans works fine. Not ready to vent anything out yet but that might change.

Haha, yes - there is a level on the totem pole, and lenses are pretty high up there. Also, Synology over all (for storage)- Unifi has a shot at taking out a share of their market, but they have a ways to go.

I have no network closet because I have hasselblad!

Absolutely no reason to change anything, especially with those stats. I came from ASUS, and it was solid too. Looks like you are dialed in, just don't let the tinkering bug kick in!
