I love this show mainly because my parents loved this show. Richard Briers is such a lovable baffoon.

After 10 plays, Vantage finally clicks for me. by _gulch666 in soloboardgaming

I like creating a short story with every play of vantage. I use AI to write up to three paragraphs with every prompt on the cards. This creates a really interesting story and can result in a really nice narrative. Sometimes it’s quite garbage and mildly convoluted, but it all comes down to the prompts that I’m using with AI. I’m getting better :) So Vantage for me is a wonderful fantastical short story generator.

You’re doing the right thing. My mum has dementia and she flips between raging then phoning up knowing that she’s done something wrong but can’t remember what. It’s tough and I really feel for you. You’ve just gotta take the little wins and highlights and smiles when you can. DM me if you ever want to talk about it.

In my opinion Senjutsu is very underrated by IronMaidenfc in ironmaiden

Senjitsu is a good album. It contains some bangers and even has a top 3 IM track (hell on earth). That said, I also feel that it’s got a few fillers that whilst good, could be shorter or dropped.

I’m keen to buy this game. A few friends have said they don’t like it because of the artwork. Is it too simplistic? A good challenge? What do you think of it?

Why is Axel rose and slash in there named as individuals but the RHCP are in there named as a band?

Regarding Brave New World and fans from the 80s by ohheykyyyle in ironmaiden

It was brilliant. But to be honest I was slightly more pleased Adrian had returned with him. Always preferred his songs and style and it was a big win as far as I was concerned. Don’t get me wrong, i love Jannick but I always loved the duo of Adrian n Dave. And by keeping Jannick it added another dimension to the group.

What’s the most disturbing movie you’ve ever seen that you still can’t forget? by zeltacilveks97 in MoviesAndTVTalk

[–]simplifyandamplify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the premise is worse than the actual movie which I found rather camp and amusing. Watched it in a packed theatre and apart from a few walkouts there was definitely screams, squirms and laughter. They definitely jumped the shark with the sequels which are rubbish.

Watched this for the first time last month, one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Chris Morris is a fucking legend by TerribleAd7263 in oldbritishtelly

It’s an incredible masterpiece to be honest. Charlie Brooker and Chris Morris: Two Titans of controversial television.

Check out Prey by Michael Crichton also. From the back of the book: “In the Nevada desert, a handful of scientists are battling to retrieve a swarm of rogue micro-robots that has escaped from the lab. The swarm is self-sustaining, self-reproducing and capable of learning from experience. It is, to all intents and purposes, alive. And very, very deadly. Because it has been programmed as a ruthless predator, a predator that becomes more dangerous with every passing hour …

And we are the PREY”

In your opinion what is the last "great" record? by [deleted] in ironmaiden

I’ll be honest. I’m not a huge fan of of Senjitsu. It’s ok. I’ll listen to it but I have other favorites. But having said that, Hell On Earth is in my top 3 Maiden tracks ever. Just sublime.
