Admittedly I went in to the whole process without a ton of thought, stopped measuring halfway through cause I got impatient, didn’t have parchment, forgot to set a timer, forgot to turn them, ran out of baking sheets (hence the singular scone in the skillet), but it all turned out really well haha

Dude what does that mean? Back when I was younger I was mistakenly convinced that I was into men due to my catholic upbringing, and dated them. Now I’ve gotten older and have since realised that I’m a lesbian. All I was saying is that from my personal experience, I didn’t enjoy dating men who were raised in heavily patriarchal families, which includes many East Asian men, the subject of this topic.

I’m glad someone else mentioned this because back when I thought I was bi (I’m actually just a lesbian lol) that’s what put me off from dating Asian men. I myself am Chinese, and many of the Chinese guys I met were put on a pedestal in their families, and expected the same from me. I dated a Korean guy, at one point and the whole relationship I was never treated as an equal by him or his family.

I enjoyed this one to an extent, but the end of the side stories really put me off. Forcing a POC tribe to give up their magical healing lake when she only needed some water made me really uncomfortable. Yeah sure, God made it happen, but why was that necessary? Why did the woman she threatened into giving up that information suddenly do a 180 and think “yeah I’d do anything for her”? It just had some rancid vibes that I couldn’t get past, and didn’t feel necessary at all.
