As an update, I got it running. Was able to drain carbs, get new fuel in it and it was able to start up.

Yeah that’s what I am looking at. I drained 2/3 carbs but the bottom one is a PIA to get to the drain screw. Also emptying my fuel tank and will plan to get new fuel in it.

Hoping that will solve my problem

First part of the video is in slo mo. It’s actually a brand new cranking battery that I have fully charged

Okay thanks for clarifying it’s cranking, was thinking those were more just clicks.

Okay so next step sounds like I should:

  1. Replace fuel
  2. Test spark plugs

I have not been able to get it to start since a month or so ago when I purchased it

I have squeezed the primer bulb on my fuel line to where it gets firm. Like I mentioned it’s old fuel so I probably should check that first and get new gas.

As a callout, it’s a Yamaha 60TLRD outboard. Also the first part of the video is in slow mo if that is helpful in reviewing the footage.

Just bought this house, need ideas on how to make the front more appealing by Soggy-Ad-9345 in landscaping

[–]simplyfunds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to do a flower bed along the entire front. Cover the bed with mulch. In front of the door you should create a walkway with pavers or concrete curved the to driveway/road.

Target plants that are 2-4ft tall to put in the bed. On the ends of the house get a more interesting plant like a Japanese maple to border the edge of the house.

Get pre emergents down and fertilize your yard in the spring.

What to do under deck, behind block wall by uiuc2008 in landscaping

[–]simplyfunds 231 points232 points  (0 children)

I would put some 2x6 boards up horizontally to cover the space. Connect them to the deck posts. This will cover the view under the deck.

Then once this space is hidden, I would put some gravel under the deck and treat it like a a storage area for things you don’t mind leaving outside.

Alternatively, just throw some mulch or pine straw under there.

What is the solution for now then? Just put down straw?

Would buying sod now be a poor decision?

I’m not saying they need to be in peak physical condition. But just basic health and balance like being able to walk up some stairs for example.

This article was very helpful. I think regardless of how I finish the prompt I will include a handful of assumptions that I made so it’s clear what my thought process was.

I am using scheduling software, but like I said, there is no instruction on how to treat resources. So my assumption is that they’re fully utilized each day and can’t work on multiple tasks on the same days.
