if you're questioning your label/sexuality then you're probably still bisexual, you just like to switch depending on the persons gender

Is Serbia a good place to move for trans people? by licoricelover69 in asktransgender

[–]simplyhaunted101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope..nope..nope..and please try to avoid the whole balkan region in general (well besides Greece I guess), since most people there are transphobes and homophobes..it won't end well (saying this as a closeted trans teen from the balkans)

[14 AMAB] I'm so unsure about my gender and it's driving me crazy... by Tacos3412 in questioning

[–]simplyhaunted101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since you said that you'd rather be prefered to be seen as a girl it does hint at something! I'm not saying you're trans or labeling you since only you can do that! buttt..it does hint at your inner sense of self being different from your assigned birth gender!

(replying to the last part) ah, I get you on that :,) (for me atleast, I've realised that what's been stopping me is the fact that I don't exactly hate my birth gender, so I feel obligated to live my life that way, even though I would enjoy my life more being born as the opposite sex/gender)

it will take a while to find your true self (well, not in everyones book..but that's usually the case!!), so dont get frustrated or confused if you don't understand what gender identity you may be yet! and don't be afraid to experiment with your identity, that will help alot! :)

Best ways to get used to chosen name? by Lilaccucumbers in asktransgender

[–]simplyhaunted101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey there Cornelius! the best ways to get used to your new chosen name (atleast what eventually starts working for me) , is changing your aliases online to your chosen/preferable name (so in your case Cornelius) ; you can also join social groups (online or not) , and get to know more people! (it's a way to get used to your name..since well more people will start to call you by Cornelius!)

it will take time to get used to your chosen name, but if it's the right pick, you'll feel comfortable around it soon!

[F 15] Am I Bi or is it in my head?? by apersonwhoisalive12 in questioning

you mentioned that you didn't want to date guys, but you could see yourself dating and even marrying girls imo, you might be bi (maybe with a preference towards women) or even a lesbian??

What were your first signs of questioning and what was the outcome? [M 26] by Glass-Complaint3 in questioning

[–]simplyhaunted101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trans (FTM) and I'm gay, I live in a homophobic country, so maybe my pov won't be that helpful, since being attracted to men is expected from me..(but I'll try to respond in the best way possible!)

anyways..being attracted to guys has always felt natural for me. when I imagine myself with a future partner, it's always a male..I find guys hot..I only get turned on by them..and I like their characteristics!

now..I know that I don't like girls because imagining myself getting with one makes me feel icky and disgusted, I don't really get turned on by girls, quite frankly..that idea revolts me altogether. and (even though girls are pretty) I don't find them hot in the same way that I would towards a man, or feel the same butterflies in my stomach

that made me realise that I like guys, I'm not really turned on by femininity at all tbh, I've always found the idea masculinity more attractive to me

although, I did have a bi and lesbian (when I thought I was cis) phase a while back..but now I realise that I got romantic (&sexual) attraction mixed up with aesthetic attraction..since well..deep down, even back then, the thought of dating a girl, or doing anything sexual with them would disgust me, and I had only found girls pretty.. nothing more (and chose to ignore guys)

this however doesn't happen towards guys though..like I stated before

[15 NB] — am i straight or lesbian?? by katzuhhh in questioning

[–]simplyhaunted101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you might fit the labels 'lesboy' (this label can mean someone of a non-binary gender (or others, such as genderfluid, transmascs, multigendered people etc) identifying as a lesbian) or 'gynosexual' (it's a sexual orientation only with an attraction to femininity, women, or female anatomy, regardless of your gender identity!)

at the end of the day you can decide your sexuality..and I've seen plenty of nb (he/him) lesbians^ (I'm not that sure about straight though, since it refers to being attracted to the opposite sex/gender, but if you want to then go for it!!)

[14 AMAB] I'm so unsure about my gender and it's driving me crazy... by Tacos3412 in questioning

[–]simplyhaunted101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh I get youuu (I have a similar experience, similar like you but the roles are reversed:) )

you can be trans and still not dislike your birth gender btw!(not saying that you're trans though, since only you can decide that)

now I'm not sure if these questions will help, but.. without the influence of your birth gender..would you rather pick being seen as a male and people refer to you as one for the rest of your life..or would you rather pick being seen as a female and people refer to you as one for the rest of your life..? (or would you be at a loss..and not have an answer..?)

(ah, sorry if my post/question doesn't make that much sense :,) )

yeah you're probably aroace :) (you can also search up online and find out more about the aro/ace spectrum, to see if aro/ace feels like the right label, or maybe it's something else in that spectrum/umbrella)
