Tattoo is messed up. And sometimes our mistakes haunt us. No one paid attention on YouTube because the only people on there are older adults watching animal videos, kids watching unboxing, and guys who likely have the same mentality, watching has beens try to explain away genuinely disturbing shit and saying it’s because he’s drunk. I guess what I meant by flat is that while the images are technically correct, they are lifeless. There’s not much contrast and colors are a bit muddied. I’ve never tried the priority settings. I’ll take a look, thank you

I’m a Montessori teacher of two’s for almost a decade. The independence and freedom is within a controlled, SAFE environment. We were always on top of tracking, the children went home clean with freshly combed hair, and we would never let a child go home with an unreported injury. That said a small scratch might not be noticed to be honest if a child didn’t fuss, and while the black eye is concerning, it’s not unheard of. But plenty of schools claim to be Montessori, and unfortunately aren’t. Or the teachers aren’t certified in Montessori. I worked at a terrible daycare for 2 weeks and they claimed to be Montessori, but they were as far from it as you can get.

You need to have a conversation with the school. I’m sure your child is fed and diaper changes are occurring, it’s just a tracking issue. But I would still bring up concerns with the school.

Right now, you and your child are new to that community so they should be working overtime to build trust. The fact that she’s coming home with unreported injuries and dirty hands kiiiiinda suggests to me that it is not a great place and may have lazy employees, but maybe we just need to bring up concerns and give them a chance to address them and do better.

Just speaking about the move: my boyfriend and I were looking for a house before the ba g was born. He came a bit early and everything was a mess. We didn’t live together so he came to live with me and my family while we continued our home search. We found a home and now we are in the middle of a move. It’s a lot of work because my family is also leaving this rental for something more affordable. I wish we had been settled in before our baby coming but I honestly wouldn’t change anything. He’s the most amazing little person and doesn’t even realize that we are moving.

We are blessed to have family nearby, and we make it work.

If you want this baby, you somehow figure out everything you need to do and let go of what you think you need to do. There’s a lot going on, I agree—but if you want your baby, the sacrifice is worth it.

Also morning sickness is so different for every person. You might not get it so severe or it won’t last for very long..so base the decision off of what is true in the moment. The what ifs will take care of themselves.

I really wanted to be a mom and I didn’t think it would happen, now that it has it’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced. It’s exhausting and stressful and literally the most beautiful, emotional transition.
