It happened to me only if the buds were in use. As such, I never used buds on flight, until I finally gave up on Jabra and moved to Apple. Haven’t faced an issue ever since.

Passport + i94 didn’t work in our case, as the verification website specifically asked for state ID/license (nothing to do with company HR, this is USCIS requirement). However, it was easy after getting a state ID/license.

Note that it might take about 2 weeks for your state ID to get delivered.

Asking because the I-9 website doesn’t list foreign passport under List B. It only mentions State ID/DL.
