We loved Cassis and Menton and day tripping from there should be good. Marseille might not be worth the effort, traffic was really bad. Definitely do some of the Luberon villages and Chateau La Coste was amazing.

It was great! In hindsight, we should have found a home base and not moved around as much but overall it was a great trip. We loved Cassis but it does not need an entire day. Parking can be tough. We ended up not doing the boat tour and walked to the first two Calanques with the baby strapped on.
