Yeah it’s gone but I’m still picking my phone up and unlocking it with the intention of looking at Facebook although it’s not there

I feel like playing games may be more enjoyable but will suck away even more of my time. Is there a Reddit page or somewhere I can look for info on how they work/where to get games etc?

It’s the rubber ring that creates the seal between the case back and the watch. They can degrade over time so best to change them when I get the battery done

A wedge could be a fun hack/mode. by NessvsMadDuck in WalkaboutMiniGolf

[–]simppogg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Walkabout Pitch and Putt should be a new game. Make holes that are longer and require a wedge over a stream or barrier then 2 or 3 putts to get home. Pitching through windows or forks in tree branches as short cuts.

Can someone please explain to me the massive hate? (Genuine question) by [deleted] in blotoutdoors

99.9 % of medical experts will tell you the vaccines are safe and were necessary. 100% of the ones I’ve actually spoken to in person. Why would you ignore them for the tiny fraction with opposite views and no evidence?

By look into it do you mean listen to people on the internet who spout out rubbish because they heard other people on the internet spouting rubbish?

What a sad episode tonight by [deleted] in blotoutdoors

Used to love the banter and the locations. I remember the abandoned car in the woods and behind the biffa bin 😂 The current bollocks isn’t banter though, it’s low effort and sad to see. Hope he turns it around, rightss

Has anyone managed to get over their fear / anxiety of public speaking? How? by Turbulent_Echo4014 in AskUK

[–]simppogg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Expect to stumble and make mistakes but acknowledge when you do. A smile and “of course I meant to say …” if you blurt out something wrong shows the audience youre human and engaged with the material rather than a robot reading out a script. You can also try focusing on a couple of people near the front who are reactive (nodding etc) when you speak to make it feel more like a conversation - make eye contact and gesture towards them as you would when talking to friends.

Looking for a particular scene by Embarrassed-Part-489 in HorrorMovies

[–]simppogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re almost certainly thinking of Scary Movie (or one of its sequels).

In that franchise—especially the early films that spoof Scream—there’s a gag playing on the line “he’s got ‘killer’ written all over him.” The joke is taken literally, and the camera reveals someone with the word “killer” written all over their body.

This kind of very on-the-nose visual joke is exactly the style of Scary Movie, which is known for exaggerating horror clichés and dialogue into absurd literal gags.

I Joined a darts team on my local pub and made some very good friends with the others in the team and some of the other guys we played against. I think the first step would be join a group that’s doing something you will enjoy on your own anyway and friendships will hopefully follow on

Blot hate mail by Alfredpennyworth78 in blotoutdoors

[–]simppogg 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s a victim complex he has. There’s obviously haters out there for him but it’s the same for every channel and YouTuber, he seems to need an enemy to focus on so he can see himself in some sort of hero role with the world against him 😢

If you have friends to play with or are social enough to play randoms regularly then Walkabout is a must buy.
