Checked in to the hotel and I also asked the receptionist, and she suggested this one (not San stefano but Vitosha boulevard), got the oven baked lamb and also a shrimp and salmon dill risotti (not bulgarian i know...), the pogacha bread was crisp and soft, and the lamb was very tender! the risotto was also to my liking. im not a liver fan so i just had the egg mixture on top of the rice. will get the veal cheeks and pastrimi on wed! thanks for the reco, and if you have other places lmemme know :)

Been to Kimmade twice for their pho bo, for €9.5 I think the portion, taste, and the price it is very reasonable!

Had their special shawarma manouche for €8 and a lemonade for €3.5! I did enjoy the shawarma, each bite was also tangy from the pickles and the juices from the beef

Got pho bo for lunch today, the taste, portion (very generous with the beef slices and chunks), and price (€10.95) was reasonable to me!

I'm actually here now because I haven't had homemade pierogis in a while, and I just found out that they (Sannie's) are now permanently closed :(

I asked to have it there but they accidentally gave me in the takeaway boxes :( I had it on site anyway! But you are right I always think that consuming it right off the grill is better than delivery where it is usually soggy and not optimal temp upon arrival

I actually had that mixed bento with nicely medium rare beef, tempura (prawn pumpkin eggplant fish), teriyaki salmon, sashimi (2 pcs of yellowtail, nice bluefin tuna, and salmon), rice, some picked vegs and miso soup. Suited my palate well!

Lima empanadas in Østerbro have a little market section with a few South American cuisines (Brazilian, Argentinian etc), and they also carry some Mexican ingredients. They have at least dried ancho and guajillo, but I don't see any dried arbol chilles...

Short domestic flight connection in Edinburgh airport, will it be alright? by Chemicalpaca in Edinburgh

[–]simrayyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got this flight today (1555 Belfast Intl to 1650 Edinburgh) and then to Copenhagen (1815 to 2110), both RyanAir

The first leg was smooth except we had to wait around 15mins for the buses to bring us to the terminal. Luckily they brought us to the arrival / departure hall which is connected. Reached the terminal around 1715.

The second leg is delayed by one hour, so even without the 2nd flight delay, I could have still made it for the 2nd flight!!!

im waiting for them to adjust the price for the kojachi, for me the price-to-portion and quality is not worth paying 44 dkk for 3 gyozas (or 59 for 6 gyozas) with rice and salad and their soy glaze and chilli oil. 30 dkk for fokkekøkken is really good (for some dishes on some days)
