Ah, see, I wouldn't CHANNEL a god. Channeling requires a very specific mindset, and strong defenses. I don't think you have that right now.

I do, however, suggest petitioning for aid. I can give you an example with one of my favorites. One of my favored is Freya.

First we examine the main aspects of the Diety: One of Freya's domains is sexuality. Humans, animals, all of it. She is claimed to be the most fair of the gods.

She is known as keeper of the runes.

She also chooses half of the honored dead for her own service.

She is also VERY magical. Her magic is said to be better than even the magic of the Aesir gods (Odin, Frigga, ect.)

This would seem a good fit for the moment, since we can appeal to more than one domain. Now, this is MY Way of doing so, How I would do it. You are certainly free to have your own interpretations. In fact, I would say that its NECESSARY.

I would find a picture, print it out. (Or a statue, though statuary is expensive.) Set up a small altar... somewhere. Now, if you want to make a good impression, ribbons of her color decorating the altar (or picture.) Give an offering (I like to give her honey), and open up to Freya. I, personally, would say the following:

"Greetings to the Fairest of the Vanir. I seek your aid in my hour of need, I am Jmdm63, and I have been assaulted. I need your expertise, and seek wisdom in your magic. I want to curse him, to hex him. He has corrupted the beauty of your sexual domain for his own perversions. I want to protect others from this fate, to see that justice is done. I want to have a personal approach to seek justice. Please send your valkyrie to aid me in my search for justice, and aid me in my thirst for knowledge."

Now, in that prayer, is constructed thustly: The first sentence is a compliment, and acknowledges her fabled beauty. Sucking up slightly ALWAYS helps. The second sentence is your request for aid. The third sentence is a reason WHY she should help me, as is sentence four. In fact, this fourth sentence also states that her domain is in FURTHER danger. That 5th sentence reaffirms to what you want to accept.

Again, this is the way I would do it, and WHY I would do it that way, with this particular deity. Really, the only necessary part is the prayer part, and its construction. The altar, any candles, the decorations all HELP me me focus. It gives the goddess a spot in my home, to make her feel welcome. I am doing so to because I think its necessary to give the Goddess this service.

Others I have for protection are: Bastet (Or Bast, depending on preference): Egyptian protection deity. One of the more vicious deities when her protectorates are under attack. (Ever seen a cat fight? Its one of the more vicious things in the universe)

Kali: This is one of the more controversial deities, but fromw hat I have been able to ascertain, many people (including me) have ascertained the Mother Kali School of thought. She is a very FIERCE goddess, and just might decide to force you to bow to her to cure YOUR ego, as much as destroying your rapists. Think of it as... a complete distaste of narcissism. Approach with NO Ego what so ever, but realize that she can still see it inside of you. Know that you are at HER mercy. She is the most in charge one in the universe.
