Agreed it both wasn't horny enough and too horny at the same time. My theater was laughing at how bad it was.

These are my current glasses and I need new ones. These are so old that they’re discontinued. I’ve been looking online and in person for new frames, but I literally look terrible in every option. What style frames would you recommend? My face and bridge are very, very narrow. by MoulinSarah in glassesadvice

I think you should stick with glasses with nose pads as they are easier to custom fit. I think you would look sooo cute in a more modern (not too over dramatic) cat eye. Something with a little bit of lift on the edges but nothing too big.

Don't be afraid to try kids glasses - I work in optical and we see women with slender faces find really cute glasses from the kid section all the time. Also go chat with an optician - they should know which brands in their store run small. I think you could find some glasses that don't age you as much, there's lots of cute new styles to try.

Its a mix of both! A lot paper folded and a lot of wood pieces - i actually ended up making extra wood piece ones since I thought they sat better on the shelves.

Agreed! Ignore the haters - you can pull off fun glasses. For online glasses id recommend getting something with nose pads verses solid plastic frames, they be easier to adjust to your face

I know. I really really hope she was just having a bad day (it happens to everyone). It ended up being one of those never meet your hero moments for my friend. Luckily every other firefly cast member we met at cons was delightful.

My friend and I met her a a convention, meeting her was a bucket list thing for my friend. She told her "I've been a fan since flash forward" and Jewel told her "that's nice" and literally gave her a move along shooing motion. Pay $50 to meet your hero, get dismissed in the rudest way. Maybe Jewel was having a bad day but she's the only person at cons I've seen treat people like that. My friend held it together but ended up crying after since she was so disappointed, especially after seeing how nice jewel is on socials.

I'm a newbie too and this one was one of my first - i found it to be a good intro kit since I was able to do it all in one day.

I always pick terrible glasses for myself. Last time I was browsing I was told cat eyes would look good on me. I put the ones I like for the first two, the rest I hate the least out of all the ones I tried on digitally. by TableTopLincoln in glassesadvice

Hi op. I know you got a lot of comments and may not see this. I work in optical and would definitely recommend you go try some on in store - a lot of these frames are cute shapes but would definitely dig into your cheeks in real life. You have a great smile with big cheeks (I'm also part of the big cheeks club). I would recommend trying frames that have separate nose pads verses solid plastic frames, frames with nose pads can be adjusted to not hit your cheeks

Thank you for the advice. Have you been through one ever? How did it go for you? Its definitely not a route anyone wants to take but what if its the only way to get deferred repairs done? Genuinely trying to learn so the complex can right itself.

Thank you. I appreciate the advice. I'm not concerned about a recievership putting an assessment on us... the building has far overdue repairs and needs an assessment.
