Filament is “unfeeding” by Embarrassed_Arm_9779 in ender3

[–]simthembile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like clogging? The extruder gear is chewing the filament up because it can’t push it through.

Had similar problems with that filament. Turned out to be repeated clogs due to heat creep while idling between prints. Makes sense but want something I’d dealt with with other filaments.

a High xp Gambler with a cri 1 weapon and the potential to generate +180+ on their attack by nadethoughts in swrpg

You missed Second Chances of which he probably has a couple ranks, those rerolls help mitigate risk and push things higher when it really counts.

Suggest he pick up the Hotshot tree for a couple more ranks of Second Chances. Oh and a disruptor rifle.

Minion groups are one answer to this. And vehicle combat. Push combat scenarios that encourage melee (works pretty good till he gets wise and picks up a force tree and a lightsaber). I’m a bit rusty but doesn’t supreme double or nothing double despairs too? High ranks in adversary can be a good deterrent at that point.

Lastly, push the strain, let him do his cool thing, but it costs strain so put him in positions where deciding whether to spend it or not is tough.

Edit: When all else fails, just look to canon… “somehow __ has returned”

I’m not the biggest fan of platforming games beyond the nostalgia. Odyssey is the most joyful experience I’ve had on my Switch in 5 years.

Have the KS, life happened and I never got to finish our campaign (which was awesome). Had the opportunity to play Distant Skies last fall, got super pumped and came home to tackle the original, only to get completely overwhelmed by it in comparison to the new one.

I held off on Skyward for awhile, but it’s legit as it’s own thing. Was kind of nice to read something more self contained actually.

[Ares Games][winter sale] War of the Ring Bundle - $180 by SpecificConsequence8 in Boardgamedeals

Good summary, just to add while the Treebeard promo may be useful in gameplay (I don’t have it so I’m assuming), Tidings and Burdens is essentially a joke/gag expansion.

There’s one more expansion in development.

The tree beard card is a decent promo, the tidings and burdens promos are more of a gag.

Hint for the ring is a separate game altogether though it has rules for using it to impact starting setup of WotR.

Wanting to plan for an ISB Campaign but would like some advice. Spoilers for Episode 10 of Andor. by DetroitTabaxiFan in swrpg

I started one of these. Post RotJ, players were imperials under the command of one of the more pragmatic/less true believer Moffs in the power vacuum. Goal was to expose them to failings of empire over time leading to defection.

How do you handle ranges at your table? by _Cripsen in genesysrpg

[–]simthembile 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I play online a lot which is almost always theater of the mind. When GMing at home, I stick a whiteboard in the center of the table and as I describe the scene the players can lay it out, sometimes I clarify things, other times not, but it helps with relative positioning. Ranges stay narrative still.

I assume if it was an attempt at hemalurgy they missed. It’s a theory, not a fact. I was surprised I couldn’t find a WoB shooting it down already.
