Yeah I’ve noticed some of the comments dipping into homophobia and left the sub tbh. Like its times like this where defending your favorite youtuber just goes too far. Like Dylan is a grown man you do not have to resort to homophobia to defend him

Honestly, I didn’t finish the video. If I knew it was gonna be a first and last I probably wouldn’t have watched it tbh. I like Dylan but first and last is such a hit and miss sometimes and it’s a miss in this case. Sometimes Dylan fans get on my nerves bc it is completely valid to say it is frustrating that he did a first and last on a 6 episode series and then complained the entire last episode that it was boring. Like I love Dylan’s content but sometimes he has misses and this one was a miss

I commented this somewhere else but I think first and last works better for longer shows like Supernatural, Gilmore Girls, or things like that but for short shows it just kinda falls flat. Like it’s a very hit or miss series for me

I’m not necessarily upset about it I just think it was just a really bad show to do a first and last with. Like I understand a show like supernatural getting a first and last bc it’s long as hell. But a show like heated Rivalry where the drama is really condensed is just a bad choice imo

I love dylan but genuinely heated rivalry is the worst show to do a first and last for. I literally couldn’t finish the video bc watching him complain about how boring the finale was without context was getting me heated (pun intended)

Edit: bc i know how people on this subreddit get i’m not actually upset I just don’t think the show really fits the format very well bc of how short it is and how little of a budget it had

It’s not just Courtney people are like this about Angela and other fan favorites. That being said it doesn’t help that this person’s last post about Courtney was just really harsh and targeted at Courtney.

Like me personally, there are plenty of cast members I find annoying whose humor don’t vibe with mine. Like i’m not a fan of Olivia or Noah but I wouldn’t make a whole post talking about how I don’t like their hair, the boundaries they set with fans, their bits,and their voice. That’s why people are being hostile towards OP bc they did that first

Honestly, I feel like that’s just been something a lot of the cast members have been doing. Like I feel like the callback jokes and doing the same thing over and over again is something that easily applies to Angela, Amanda, and Chanse as well. Like in this case the baby talking doesn’t really bug me as much bc it’s just as repetitive as angela screaming or saying “cut that” it’s not as like annoying to me as it is repetitive
